"Chelsea have only ever lost one league match at Stamford Bridge while Jose Mourinho has been in charge, but they could be tested here in his 100th Premier League home game by a Palace side who have the ability to cause real problems.
"Both matches between the teams were decided by a single goal last season, with Chelsea securing the title in this fixture in May thanks to a strike from Eden Hazard.
"Palace will hope to capitalise on Chelsea's mixed start to the season and have the joint best away record in the Premier League in 2015, winning seven of nine on the road since Alan Pardew took over in January."
Home comforts for Jose
Ninety-nine games, 76 wins, one defeat, 250 points.
Visitors Crystal Palace are facing perhaps the most difficult away trip in world football but Alan Pardew's men do have reason to be optimistic.
With 22 points, no team has won more points than Palace away from home in the top flight in 2015.
Mourinho's record in his first 100 home games is the best of any manager in the Premier League era, but avoiding a slip up today will be easier said than done.

Mourinho's milestone
ReutersCopyright: Reuters
Not even a pitchside microphone is safe from a Jose Mourinho rant this season.
The Portuguese coach takes charge of his 100th Premier League home game as Chelsea boss today, but you suspect he is hardly in the mood to celebrate.
Three games down, four points on the board and five points off the top of the table. It has not been the best of starts for the reigning champions.
A win today would be a massive boost. One problem. They face a Crystal Palace side that boasts the joint best away record in 2015...

Lawro predicts
Chelsea v Crystal Palace (15:00 BST)
"Even with John Terry getting sent off, I thought Chelsea got back to business last week with their win at West Brom.
"Meanwhile, Crystal Palace continued their strong start by beating Aston Villa and the pressure is off them a bit here.
"Even if they lose at Stamford Bridge, the Eagles will have played two of last season's top four in their first four games, and still have six points. Everything is very rosy for them at the moment."
Chelsea 2-0 Crystal Palace

The MOTD commentator's view
Chelsea v Crystal Palace (15:00 BST)
Simon Brotherton
MOTD commentator at Upton Park
Not even a pitchside microphone is safe from a Jose Mourinho rant this season.
The Portuguese coach takes charge of his 100th Premier League home game as Chelsea boss today, but you suspect he is hardly in the mood to celebrate.
Three games down, four points on the board and five points off the top of the table. It has not been the best of starts for the reigning champions.
A win today would be a massive boost. One problem. They face a Crystal Palace side that boasts the joint best away record in 2015...
