  1. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 21:11

    Aston Villa 1-0 Birmingham

That is brilliant from Jack Grealish, who has made a real difference to Aston Villa. Grealish commits and takes on three men down the left, he works his way into the area, skips around keeper Tomasz Kuszczak - and goes down. Was he tripped? Looks like contact...

    Aston Villa 1-0 Birmingham

Why would you not cross the ball in when you have someone like Rudy Gestede up front? Villa's tactics have been odd. He is unbeatable at times, but Villa have been loathe to play to his strengths.

Birmingham have 23 minutes to fight back. Loads of time.

Preston's early dominance at the start of the second half is slowly dying out. Will they regret not taking their chances?

That's a great header, that's why he's in the team. It was the first bit of quality into the box, Jack Grealish at the heart of it."

    Reading 1-0 Everton

Can the Toffees get back into this?

    Rudy Gestede (62 mins)

Rudy Gestede has had a miserable game - but not now! His touch has been bad all night but he's not had a header to go at, until now.

Jordan Amavi swings in a wonderful cross for the big man to attack and he connects with a booming header into the net. Pick that one out!

Clayton Donaldson is becoming a more isolated figure as the two Birmingham wingers, Gray and Maghoma, drop back to make a midfield five."

  10. GREAT SAVE!published at 21:04

    Leicester 1-1 West Ham

Top stop from West Ham keeper Adrian to keep out Leo Ulloa's header. Leicester full-steam ahead now.

    Diego Fabbrini (57 mins)

Sublime from Middlesbrough. Albert Adomah's low cross from the right is beautifully dummied by Uruguayan winger Carlos de Pena and Diego Fabbrini fires home.

    Sunderland 0-4 Man City

And still Manchester City come forward. This time, Sunderland goalkeeper Vito Mannone keeps out Yaya Toure's strike after a driving run. City are in cruise control.

  13. CLOSE!published at 21:00

    Leicester 1-1 West Ham

West Ham survived a second-half battering at Man City at the weekend and they may have to again. Some questionable defending as Leicester swing in a cross from the left but the Hammers somehow keep it out.

    Middlesbrough 1-0 Wolves

Wolves enjoying plenty of the possession but are creating very, very little. At the other end Kike still looks a threat for Middlesbrough.

  15. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 20:59

    Sunderland 0-4 Man City

Enjoy yourself Patrick Roberts. The teenage midfielder makes his Manchester City debut, replacing Jesus Navas on the right of midfield, after signing from Fulham in the summer. What a time to make your debut. Easy springs to mind.

  16. CLOSE!published at 20:56

    Aston Villa 0-0 Birmingham

Scott Sinclair heads wide after a good move down their right wing. Tim Sherwood's hairdryer is working perfectly fine. His side look a different team.

    Preston 0-1 Bournemouth

Bailey Wright is the next to go close for Preston as his header is straight at goalkeeper Adam Federici. It is coming...

Tim Sherwood has been criticised for his substitutions in the past but here he has got them on early and they've shown real positivity."

    Preston 0-1 Bournemouth

Much better from Preston as Daniel Johnson and Will Keane combine, but the latter shoots inches wide.

    Aston Villa 0-0 Birmingham

Villa looking much, much better as Scott Sinclair has a shot deflected over the top. The Holte End is back singing.
