    Martin Keown
Former Arsenal defender on Final Score

"You feel for the linesman, the game is going from one end to the other at breakneck speed, it's end to end stuff - Leicester have just hit the bar, then Arsenal go and score at the other end.

"Arsenal seem happy to tango with them, it's too open."

  2. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21 min

    Leicester 1-1 Arsenal

An early change for the Gunners here. Mikel Arteta replaces Mathieu Flamini, who looks to have picked up some kind of knock in the centre of midfield.

  3. Foxes are so fast breaking forwardpublished at 15:22 British Summer Time 26 September 2015

    Leicester 1-1 Arsenal

We already know how good Leicester are on the break, but this graphic does not do justice to the sheer speed of the counter attack that led to Jamie Vardy's goal against Arsenal.

However, you do get an idea of how much work Vardy still had to do on his own after getting on the end of Danny Drinkwater's precison long pass, and the angle he found the net from.

    Jermaine Jenas
Former England midfielder on Final Score

"It's such a difficult place to play at Leicester because of all that pace. Jamie Vardy just runs the channels non-stop and that's what's happened there and Danny Drinkwater's picked him out."

What a start to this game. Jamie Vardy hits the crossbar with a header, but from the counter attack Arsenal profit to get themselves back on level terms.

Theo Walcott escapes the Leicester defence and with a cool finish slides the ball past Kasper Schmeichel and into the net.

Counter attack has been king so far in this contest.

GOAL - Jamie Vardypublished at 13 min

    Leicester 1-0 Arsenal

Arsenal are punished on the counter attack and that's five goals in the Premier League for Jamie Vardy - matching his entire tally for last season.

The Leicester forward races down the left flank after receiving the ball from Danny Drinkwater. He cuts inside and rather than setting up strike partner Shinji Okazaki, he goes it alone.

Vardy's finish from a tight angle is top class, though, and he bends it around Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech and into the net.

  7. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 11 min

    Leicester 0-0 Arsenal

Jamie Vardy is a man in form and he has the first clear chance of the game with a scuffed shot from just inside the box.

The Leicester man's effort takes a deflection off Per Mertesacker's calf and strikes the base of the post.

Arsenal starting to find some rhythm and go close with Santi Cazorla's shot from just outside the box which is cleared off the line by Ritchie De Laet.

Leicester have come back from 2-0 deficits in their last two games - Ranieri will be keen for his defence to keep chances to a premium in the first half.

A bright start from Leicester as Danny Drinkwater bursts down the right flank and forces a corner, but Arsenal's defence easily deal with Marc Albrighton's delivery from the resulting flag kick.

They were discussing Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri last night and their frequent comebacks this season on BBC Radio 5 live.

Chris Sutton: "It shows the spirit they have. They have a real goal threat. But it’s eventually going to bite them and cost them. I feel sorry for Nigel Pearson, he got it all going."

Trevor Sinclair: "He’s more gentle than Pearson, that’s obvious. He’s charismatic, he knows what hes doing – he's galvanised the players. He'll hope they don’t keep giving themselves a mountain to climb. He's done a great job."

"Arsene Wenger is jealous of Jose Mourinho – why wouldn’t he be? Look what Mourinho has won.

"Arsene needs to take more responsibility for the actions of his players. Diego Costa's retrospective ban was right but how has Gabriel's red card been rescinded? I don’t know.

"Arsenal don’t have leadership on the pitch."

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger makes two changes from the side which lost 2-0 to Chelsea in their last Premier League game.

Mathieu Flamini, who scored twice in Arsenal's 2-1 League Cup win over Tottenham on Wednesday, comes into midfield for the injured Francis Coquelin while Per Mertesacker replaces the suspended Gabriel at the heart of the Gunners' defence.

Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri's only change from the side which drew 2-2 with Stoke in the league last weekend is in midfield as Mark Albrighton comes in for Gokhan Inler, who drops to the bench.

Striker Joe Dodoo is rewarded for his goal in the Foxes' 2-1 win over West Ham in the League Cup during the week with a place on the bench.

"Liverpool would snatch your hands off for what Arsenal have done in recent years. They want to win more trophies but it’s not the end of the world, what Arsene Wenger has done at the club.

"He has a degree in economics and he spends the club’s money like it’s his own.

"I don't think them not signing a big-name outfield player was for a lack of trying this summer.

"They have a lot of really nice boys in the team. It must be an easy dressing room to handle. In the mid-90s their players would come out and be vocal and Wenger probably didn't like that.

"I wouldn’t say he’s signed 'yes men', but men who are easier to handle."

Leicester have enjoyed a superb start to the season and are among the Premier League's early pacesetters.

A total of 12 points from six games is an impressive return for new manager Claudio Ranieri, especially given there were a few eyebrows raised when he was appointed.

The Foxes are the league's only unbeaten team, but the fixture computer gave them a relatively easy start to the season . Arsenal should represent a much sterner test of whether Ranieri's men really are serious contenders for a European place, or whether they will fade quicker than our summer sun tans.
