A great start for Steve McClaren. Moussa Sissoko, who has started this game well, showed tremendous awareness to make the goal. Georginio Wijnaldum showed good composure to finish into the far corner. The crowd are up now.

Steve McClaren will be encouraged with Moussa Sissoko's use of the ball early on. He hasn't been particularly good so far this season. He was their best player towards the end of last season.

Nice football by the hosts to work it out to Daryl Janmaat. The less said about his cross from the right the better though as it sails horribly long and out of play. Positive start from the Magpies though.

What an impact Norwich boss Alex Neil had for Norwich last season.

After being appointed boss from Hamilton, he took the Canaries from seventh in the Championship to the Premier League - via the play-offs.

Keeping them up this season would surely cement his place in Canaries folklore.

Win today and they move up to 11th and eight points clear of the drop zone.
