The mood has oscillated wildly in the last few minutes at the Liberty Stadium.

Boos rang around the ground as Dan Gosling fired Bournemouth into a two-goal lead and seemed to turn Swansea’s fans against their team.

But almost immediately those jeers were replaced by roars of encouragement as Andre Ayew halved the Swans’ deficit with a cheeky backheel.

Garry Monk’s future may be on the line today, and this first half will not have eased his nerves.

Still little threat from Swansea, Bournemouth are knocking it around with confidence. But the game stops as Steve Cook goes down with a head injury after clashing with team-mate Sylvain Distin - Cook needs treatment after a hefty collision.

Junior Stanislas drills the ball home from inside the area but the flag is up for offside. The home side are being forced into a succession of mistakes and are allowing the visitors to keep the pressure up.

An escape for Swansea as Josh King latches onto a mistake by Leon Britton to go one on one with Lukasz Fabianski, but the goalkeeper does well to block and keep it at 0-1.

The hosts are shaken but nearly hit back straight away, with Wayne Routledge swinging a shot across goal and wide of the far post. Eder then sees a close-range effort scrambled clear in a frantic phase in front of Bournemouth's goal.

Better from Swansea as Kyle Naughton harries Charlie Daniels into conceding a throw-in near his own area. Swansea cannot make anything of it and Bournemouth get the ball away.

Bournemouth have begun confidently, pressing around the edge of the home box until Andre Ayew gets back to block Josh King.

It's a noisy start off the pitch, with the home fans enthusiastically using the clackers given away by the club. But it is the visitors who are on the front foot, with Dan Gosling curling a 20-yard shot high and wide of the right-hand post.

The game gets under way, with Ashley Williams getting into bother in his own area early on but Leon Britton scrambles the ball away.
