"That is a blow for Arsenal. They are having to cope with a lot of injuries at the moment and you do not want too many more at this time of year. But they have options at centre-half with Calum Chambers and Gabriel."

    SUBSTITUTION

With Laurent Koscielny off the pitch, there's a few hairy moments as Norwich send a swirling cross into the middle - just about dealt with.

The ref then blows up for a foul, and that allows Gabriel to come on in place of the Frenchman.

How many players is that out now, for Arsenal?!

As an Arsenal fan, I cannot understand why Gabriel doesn't start. I shed a tear when I see Mertesacker's name in the line-up.

    Man down!

    More injuries for Arsenal?

Laurent Koscielny appears to have taken a knock here, and Gabriel is getting readied...

You think 40mph is bad? When I came in it work it must have been double that - I ended up going backwards for most of the journey (on bike) and even lost a glove.

They were a present, too. Sorry mum.

The touches Santi Cazorla takes are so pinpoint, precise and tiny it's unreal.

He steers the ship towards the right flank, where Hector Bellerin is looking to stretch out - but the pressure is on him straight away.

Alexis Sanchez with the first sight of goal. A shot zips away past John Ruddy's left stick.

The Norwich keeper has got some pretty garish boots on today, I am very much not a fan. Although I'm a keeper too and did used to have a pair of R9s...

Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil and Santi Cazorla were on cracking form against Dinamo Zagreb in midweek.

But Aaron Ramsey on the right wing?

Wes Hoolahan is the man Norwich will look to for that touch of genius today.

Here we go then... kick-off is upon us...

The swirly wet stuff seems to have abated a tad. Arsene Wenger's coat is zipped up just halfway.

Is Ozil really Lazy? Or just misunderstood?

Will he make it eight today?..

  16. Who is Jeff Reine-Adelaide?published at 16:08

    Norwich v Arsenal (16:15 GMT)

There's a (perhaps) unfamiliar name on the Arsenal bench today - 17-year-old Frenchman Jeff Reine-Adelaide.

So who is he? Well, he's yet to make a Premier League appearance but has dazzled in the Emirates Cup, twice winning man-of-the-match awards in the pre-season tournament.

Arsene Wenger is clearly a fan, and has described Reine-Adelaide as "something special". He added: "I don't remember how I played at 17 but I didn't play like that!"

If Arsenal can find another Sanchez in January, they are serious challengers. They just lack that consistency.

A final plug for our Predictor game via the opinion of BBC Sport guru Mark Lawrenson - here's how he reckons today's game will pan out.

"If people talk about Arsenal at the moment, they immediately bring up that they have loads of injuries.

"But I think the effects of Arsenal's injury problems have been blown out of proportion a bit, especially when you consider the way they played the other night when Mesut Ozil, Santi Cazorla and Alexis Sanchez were unstoppable.

"I don't see Norwich causing them many problems - true, Arsenal lost at West Brom last time out, but I cannot see them losing two Premier League games in a row."

    Optimist by name...

People go on about Arsenal's injury problems but today's lineup is only a Coquelin away from our strongest. Maybe the real annual injury crisis is yet to hit?
