It's a tough ground to go to, the home supporters really get behind their team. Sevilla are a side with a spectacular record over recent years, although they've always been one of the big teams."

  7. 'Crisis point'published at 19:25

Moyes on the brink at Real Sociedad?

Spanish football writer Andy West: "David Moyes's potential departure from the Anoeta has been a slow burning story for the last few weeks, but in the last couple of days it has started to accelerate quickly.

"Sociedad, known throughout Spain as 'La Real', have made a poor start to the season, winning just twice (both away from home) and have nine points from their opening 11 games.

"But the real crisis point arrived with Friday's defeat at Las Palmas, which quickly led to reports that the San Sebastian club's president Jokin Aperribay is poised to act and end Moyes's time at the club, perhaps even before the first anniversary of his arrival in Spain on Tuesday."

  8. Moyes on the brink?published at 19:20

Elsewhere in La Liga, speculation is growing over the future of Real Sociedad boss David Moyes.

The Scot's team are marooned near the bottom of La Liga and a limp performance in Friday's 2-0 defeat against lowly Las Palmas has left his future in serious doubt.

Reports in Spain on Saturday suggested Sociedad's board were meeting to discuss Moyes's position but, as of yet, there has been no announcement about the former Manchester United manager's future.
