Liz Tray: Someone should tell Hammers fans not every single foul is a yellow. Demichelis, mind you, v close to a red there. Great game!

HALF-TIME

That's probably a fair state of affairs at the break. West Ham excellent in parts, City showing enough bottle to get back into things after a tough start.

The big talking point will be on Martin Demichelis. Was he the last man when only a booking came his way fro hacking down Michail Antonio.

West Ham need to tune in here. They don't want o create issues before the break. A minute left and Aaron Cresswell takes a heavy touch to concede a throw. Their keeper Adrian did him no favours with a tame clearance.

Injury for Toure?

It's Dimitri Payet. He started on the left side but pops up to cause problems across the front line. It's 45 touches so far, 18 more than David Silva for the visitors.

Excellent work from Michail Antonio as he jockeys Sergio Aguero to prevent a clear City chance on the break. Antonio has to match his man on halfway or the away side would have a huge overlap. The home fans like that.

More excellent work sees the City stopper jump to flick an inviting cross away in the six-yard box.

If you're just joining us, Enner Valencia gave West Ham the lead inside a minute, Sergio Aguero then hit the post with a wonderful lob before being fouled moments later for a penalty which he converted.

Martin Demichelis is lucky to be on the pitch perhaps after appearing to deny a goalscoring chance and Joe Hart has made one of the saves of the season.

YELLOW CARD

Mark Noble into the book for a slightly wild challenge on Jesus Navas who had slipped his man. 

"You're not fit to referee," comes the chant.

All pretty even as things stand. Cheikhou Kouyate chases down a long ball but Joe Hart is on the mark to gather on the edge of his box.

West Ham will have to make something from a free-kick, they feel like they should have more. Replays do show Martin Demichelis may be a little fortunate.

Dimitri Payet is over the free-kick. Right footed... brilliant curler... even better save.

That's stunning from Joe Hart. One handed, he dived high to his left and just got a strong hand to the ball. Different class.
