    Man Utd 0-0 Southampton

Serious question... have any Manchester United fans thought about getting rid of their season ticket next season? It's hardly been the best value for money this year. Or last year, for that matter.

Watford have lost their last four league games, and have taken one point from a possible 15 since Christmas. Can Odion Ighalo lead the Hornets to their first league victory of 2016?

"We have 13 minutes left in this half, if it stays 0-0, that will be the 11th successive game that Manchester United have not scored in the first-half at Old Trafford. That includes 10 0-0 draws and one 0-1 when they were losing to Norwich. That is incredible."

    Man Utd 0-0 Southampton

We didn't want to mention this... but it's the only thing of note to happen in the last 15 minutes!

Wayne Rooney shoots. Wayne Rooney almost takes out the corner flag.

  5. Championship latestpublished at 15:34 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2016

Gary Hooper has celebrated his recent permanent move to Sheffield Wednesday by scoring for his side at Reading. The Owls, fifth in the Championship, lead 1-0.

Elsewhere, fellow play-off chasers Birmingham are 1-0 up against Ipswich.

Bottom-of-the-table Bolton are winning 1-0 at home to MK Dons while Rotherham are a goal down at Cardiff, a scoreline that, as things stand, means they drop into the relegation zone.

    Sunderland 0-1 Bournemouth

The first real chance from Sunderland as John O'Shea manages to contort himself enough to flick a header on goal but Artur Boruc reads it well and pushes it away.

  7. Postpublished at 15:33

    Crystal Palace 1-0 Tottenham

It's almost an instant response from Spurs as Toby Alderweireld drills a long-range effort across goal and Harry Kane is a toenail from diverting it past the keeper.

  8. Postpublished at 15:32

    Leicester 0-0 Stoke

It's not been the best game so far. Neither side finding top gear. A few false neutrals if anything.

  9. SUBSTITUTION - Shawcross offpublished at 15:29

    Leicester 0-0 Stoke

That is the end of Ryan Shawcross's day. He limps off and it's Marc Wilson on in his place.

GOAL - Crystal Palace 1-0 Tottenhampublished at 15:29

    Jan Vertonghen own goal

A fine solution to goal-scoring problems - get the other side to find the back of the net for you! Wilfried Zaha drills in a low cross, Jan Vertonghen sticks out a boot and the ball flies beyond Hugo Lloris. Selhurst is rocking.

  11. 'Got to be a penalty'published at 15:28 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2016

    West Brom 0-0 Aston Villa

    Trevor Sinclair
Former England winger on Final Score

"That has got to be a penalty. Olsson was behind the player and slid through the player to get the ball. I cannot see how the referee hasn’t given that."

  12. Postpublished at 15:28

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Tottenham

Wilfried Zaha is sporting a fine, new haircut today. Palace fans: think Richard Shaw and Andy Preece.

Can you walk into a barber's and ask for 'a Richard Shaw'?

  13. ouch!

    Postpublished at 15:28

    Leicester 0-0 Stoke

Worrying times for Stoke as Ryan Shawcross goes down with an injury. He is able to carry on but now he's back down again. Does not look good.

  14. Postpublished at 15:25

    Sunderland 0-1 Bournemouth

Benik Afobe is being made to look like Eusebio at the moment by Sunderland, who can't get near him. He whistles a powerful hit at Vito Mannone as the first audible signs of dissent ring down from the stands.

  15. The goal rush?published at 15:25

If we're going to keep up our nine-goal average we need to get moving...

  17. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:23

    Watford 0-0 Newcastle

Heurelho Gomes' place in the Watford goal has come under question with the signing of Costel Pantilimon but he has made a good save here with his feet, keeping out a shot from Aleksander Mitrovic.

  18. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 15:24

    West Brom 0-0 Aston Villa

That's a decent shout, you know! Jordan Ayew skips into the box and heads to the byline, where he is felled when Jonas Olsson dives in from behind and cleans him out. But the ref waves play on. Mmm.

  20. Van Gaal's men start slowpublished at 15:23

    Manchester United 0-0 Southampton

It's a slow start as you'd expect for Louis van Gaal's men after recent times at Old Trafford. They have only scored one first-half goal in their last nine league matches at home.
