Stephen Davies: If he doesn't beat the mighty Eibar there's something wrong
Henry Pullen: Loving the amount of coverage Valencia are getting now that G Nev. is in charge.
Alan Tate: Once he settles in he will be fine
Eibar, despite being minnows, have an identical record to Valencia this season - won five, drew five, lost four, scored 18 goals. Valencia have only conceded 11 to Eibar's 16 - which is why they are ahead of them in the league.
And Eibar go even closer. I was questioning Jaume Domenech a minute ago but the Valencia keeper pulls off a fantastic stretching save to keep out Sergi Enrich's effort on the stretch which looked a certain goal.
Maybe Gary Neville does know what he's doing.
Eibar almost take the lead as Keko does Valencia for pace down the right and pings in a great cross which Shkodran Mustafi just gets out for a corner under pressure.
A few shaky moments from Valencia keeper Jaume Domenech, who takes too long on the ball, losing possession, and then flaps at a cross.
The 25-year-old who has limited La Liga experience was a bit of a surprise selection ahead of Mathew Ryan, the highly rated Australia international.
Nice bit of skill from Valencia striker Paco Alcacer to flick the ball over a defender's head but Eibar come away with the ball.
I doubt either Neville brother taught him that.
Eibar have never beaten Valencia by the way. To be fair they've only played twice - both last season with Los Che winning both.
The minnows have have a stadium capacity of just over 5,000 and this is only their second season in the top flight following two consecutive promotions.
For comparison, Morecambe's Globe Arena holds more people.
Eibar had to raise well over £1m last summer, about four times their capital, to enter Spain's top flight.
Bright start from Eibar and David Junca, with Valencia defender Shkodran Mustafi doing well to get across and get the ball out for a corner.
The corner comes to nothing.
We are under way in Eibar. A minute early too.
Players are out at Ipurua, handshakes are done and we're almost ready to go.
Valencia's other assistant coach, Miguel Angel Angulo, played 430 times for the club between 1996 and 2009, winning two league titles.
A run that Gary Neville won't want to break - none of the last nine Valencia managers (excluding caretakers) have lost their last La Liga game (W7 D2).

So how do you think Gary Neville will do as Valencia manager? Will he be the next Manchester United or England boss? Or will he stay in La Liga long term?
Is he a good appointment for Los Che or is it just jobs for the boys?

Former Manchester City striker Alvaro Negredo has barely played this season following appendicitis and not being in the good books of Valencia's old boss.
He made his first appearance since October as a substitute in the midweek 2-0 loss to Lyon that knocked them out of the Champions League - Gary Neville's first game in charge.
Neville said: "I saw Alvaro play a lot at City and he was an important player in the league, he was like the perfect striker and I don't see why he cannot recover that level.
"We need to bring him back sensibly having been out three months. He is getting stronger but this is a process and he will get to his peak eventually. Maybe 25 minutes here and then 30 or 35, little by little. I have confidence in him because he is a very good player and can help the team a lot."
Valencia manager Gary Neville starts with Spain international Paco Alcacer up front. Alvaro Negredo, returning to fitness, is on the bench,
Not a lot of household names in the Eibar team as you'd expect - fans of English football might remember Ivan Ramis from Wigan. But then again...
Eibar: Riesgo, Capa, Dos Santos, Ramis, Junca, Escalante, Dani Garcia, Borja, Berjon, Enrich, Keko.
Valencia: Domenech, Abdennour, Mustafi, Orban, Barragan, Javi Fuego, Danilo, A Gomes, R de Paul, Cancelo, Alcacer.
Very few managerial appointments properly catch everyone off-guard.
But Valencia hiring Gary Neville was one of those moments.
Of course it became much less random when you remembered he co-owns an English non-league club with the Valencia owner.
And that his brother already worked for the club.
