"What worries me a little bit is Scunthorpe aren't being positive enough or getting enough men forward when they get the chance."

  3. Postpublished at 31 mins

    Chelsea 1-0 Scunthorpe

Willian whips in a free-kick, right through the penalty area and away for a corner. A second Blues strike before half-time would - you would think - end this tie.

  5. CLOSE!published at 27 mins

    Chelsea 1-0 Scunthorpe

It's a cliche but one that carries a grain of truth: Scunthorpe's best chance may lie with a set-piece. A corner is not dealt with and Iron captain Stephen Dawson batters in a shot that is seriously travelling until Gary Cahill gets his head in the way. Stinger!

"Scunthorpe's problem is when they win the ball, they don't have a physical presence to hold the ball up."

BBC Sport's Gary Rose: Tottenham versus Leicester may be an all Premier League tie but there's definitely FA Cup fever at White Hart Lane. Spurs fans are in great spirits after what has been a very good season so far, and these four fans - Danny, Henley, Tommy and Rick - are loving life under Mauricio Pochettino at the moment.

"He has got us playing really well, we'll beat Leicester 2-1 no problem," Rick confidently predicted.

Scunthorpe keeper Luke Daniels is earning his corn as he makes another excellent save to push over a shot from Pedro. Tight angle, good hit, good save.

Moments later Oscar curls in a shot from 18 yards but it's a foot wide. Chelsea are bang on it.

Carlisle have had the best moment of the game as top scorer Jabo Ibehre chests one down and then flashes a shot wide.

  12. 'We'll enjoy the moment'published at 14:20 Greenwich Mean Time 10 January 2016

    Oxford 3-2 Swansea

Oxford forward Kemar Roofe to BBC Sport:

"It's going crazy out there, everyone is bouncing, the atmosphere was brilliant and it's the same in the dressing room now.

"We're probably used to more possession in the league and obviously we came up against a well-known passing team but we matched them and got in their faces.

"I don't think they underestimated us, we were just on our game and luck was on our side.

"We'll enjoy the moment tonight, maybe have the day off tomorrow and get back on it the day after."

robert snell: Oxford, and other teams, are proof that the lower leagues arent just "kick and rush". a good proving ground for young players.

Sam Long: Great win for #oufc, but it's funny how often Premier League reserve sides are outplayed by teams in lower divisions..

Bryan B: come back Monk, all is forgiven

    Chelsea 1-0 Scunthorpe

Still Chelsea pour forwards, looking back to close to their fluent best in these early stages.

Don't forget though, Chelsea were 2-0 up against Bradford last year...

  15. 'We were outstanding'published at 14:17 Greenwich Mean Time 10 January 2016

    Oxford 3-2 Swansea

Oxford boss Michael Appleton to BBC Sport:"I thought the performance was outstanding, it was always going to be a difficult game against a Premier League side.

"I don't want to give Kemar Roofe too much praise as he's just over there but he's done ever so well this year - we're very used to seeing goals like his first one today in many games this year.

"This is reward for everyone at the football but it's really important to gain promotion and if we can improve on the squad it will stand us in good stead.

"I'm not worried about people coming in for our players, you've got to take it in your stride and the club want to bring players in who can go on and improve themselves.

"But I don't think there are many players that want to leave just now."

  16. GREAT SAVE!published at 16 mins

    Diego Costa (13 mins)

You got the sense with Chelsea's line-up this afternoon that they were keen to snuff out any chance of an upset and they have taken an early lead. Branislav Ivanovic whips in a cross from the right, Diego Costa is between two defenders and does well to muscle in and lever the ball into the corner.

The last touch may well have come off a defender, we shall see if that gets awarded as an own goal.

Both sides are struggling with the difficult windy conditions in Blackpool, it's been a low key opening 10 minutes.

  20. Postpublished at 9 mins

    Chelsea 0-0 Scunthorpe

Kevin van Veen, surely Scunthorpe's most exotic striker since Keegan or Botham, skips down the left but his cross is eventually cut out by Kurt Zouma. Decent start to the game.
