  1. 'Foxes have answered every question'published at 19:26 Greenwich Mean Time 2 February 2016

    Jonathan Pearce
    Match of the Day commentator

"Leicester will be genuine title contenders if they win this, and Liverpool will be lost in mid-table obscurity. Who would have predicted that in August?

"Only Manchester City have topped the Premier League table for longer than the Foxes this campaign and the side entering February top has a habit of winning the Premier League.

"Back-to-back trips to Manchester City and Arsenal after this make it their toughest examination so far. But up to now they've answered every question thrown their way and the Vardy-Mahrez combination will pose problems for Liverpool, especially if the visitors defend as badly as they did at Norwich.

"Jurgen Klopp needs to stop them conceding at set pieces, otherwise questions will start to be raised about his coaching."

The last team to lead the top-flight table at the start of February and not finish in the top four was Southampton in 1981-82.

  4. Who's predicting what?published at 19:18 Greenwich Mean Time 2 February 2016

SAM, a Salford University super computer, has predicted the most probably score here is 1-1, but Leicester have a 43% chance of winning the game.

Mark Lawrenson, a former Liverpool defender made of flesh and bone, also predicts 1-1.

Felix White, who is in a band too cool for me to have heard of -  The Maccabees - reckons 3-1 to the Foxes.

    Leicester v Liverpool (19:45 GMT)

Leicester are unchanged from the 3-0 win over Stoke about 10 days ago - all their key players start, including Jamie Vardy - who is on the brink of signing a new deal. The Foxes enjoyed a weekend off because of their FA Cup exit.

As expected Liverpool make loads of changes from Saturday's 0-0 FA Cup draw with West Ham - eight in fact. Only keeper Simon Mignolet and defenders Nathaniel Clyne and Dejan Lovren keep their places. Christian Benteke is benched again with Roberto Firmino starting up front.

We are 60% of the way through the season and it's still difficult to work out if Premier League leaders Leicester can really win the title.

But soon we might have a much better idea as Leicester face three games in 12 days that could shape their destiny.

On Saturday, they visit second-placed Manchester City, with a trip to Arsenal, who are third, the following weekend.

But first of all, 30 minutes from now, they face Liverpool - one of only two teams to beat them in the league all season (Arsenal are the other).
