Nathan Titus: Based on the football over the past two nights, I propose that the rest of the Premier League season be played midweek.

  4. CLOSE!published at 20:28

    Liverpool 2-2 Arsenal

The Premier League has had one of its seasonal breakdowns. Nobody can remember how to defend!

Arsenal slice Liverpool apart with ease, Theo Walcott is in on goal and has Olivier Giroud for company, he fires it across, the Frenchman slides in, surely a goal - no!

It hits Giroud on the heel and somehow doesn't go in...

Rachel T: Defending is SO 2015.

Paul French: Liverpool holding a lead like a fork holds soup

  6. CLOSE!published at 20:27

    Tottenham 0-0 Leicester

Decent game at White Hart Lane now. Danny Drinkwater goes close for the visitors with a rasping volley and Hugo Lloris pushes it away.

  7. Postpublished at 20:27

    Chelsea 1-1 West Brom

West Brom look just as likely as Chelsea to score the next goal.

Salomon Rondon blazes over the bar after another quick Baggies break.

  8. Postpublished at 20:27 Greenwich Mean Time 13 January 2016

    Liverpool 2-2 Arsenal

    Mark Lawrenson
Ex-Liverpool defender at Anfield for BBC Radio 5 live

"It was a bit like Exeter's goal on Friday in the FA Cup. It went through a whole body of Liverpool shirts. I have no idea how that went through at all."

  9. Postpublished at 20:25

    Manchester City 0-0 Everton

Manchester City won't like seeing Arsenal levelling with Liverpool.

They could do with winning their own match as they look to close the gap at the top but, at the moment, Everton look more likely.

  10. goal

GOAL - Liverpool 2-2 Arsenalpublished at 20:25 Greenwich Mean Time 13 January 2016

    Olivier Giroud (25 mins)

Liverpool just can't defend a corner!

Exeter scored direct from a corner on Friday and Arsenal almost do now, it's whipped in and Olivier Giroud gets a slight touch on it and it goes in through Simon Mignolet's legs.

    Rubbish, rubbish defending...

  11. goal

GOAL - Swansea 2-1 Sunderlandpublished at 20:24 Greenwich Mean Time 13 January 2016

    Andre Ayew (40 mins)

Nothing stokes a team's fire like a sense of injustice! Swansea are seething about that red card but instantly go ahead as Andre Ayew chases a ball over the top, turns Wes Brown inside out and then slashes a low shot across goal and in!

    Wonderful.

Chris Wright: GET IN THERE FIRMINO !! Whaaaaaat a goaaaaaal !!!

Craig Andrew Smith: It's the Southampton game all over again for Arsenal. Can't handle being pressed at a high tempo. Need a holding midfielder.

Anthony Amodeo: Proof, if any more was needed, that our best team is without Benteke.

    Swansea 1-1 Sunderland

    "It's just bonkers!"

  15. CLOSE!published at 20;23

    Chelsea 1-1 West Brom

    This is a great game.

You know those basketball matches, this is very similar. Not in that the players are throwing it around, in that it is end-to-end.

Oscar has a goal-bound shot blocked.

  16. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 20:22 Greenwich Mean Time 13 January 2016

    Southampton 1-0 Watford

Sadio Mane. That is a howler.

The Saints striker nips in ahead of Sebastian Prodl, he is through on goal, gives goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes the eyes, sits him down, and then slots against the post.

    He has to score.

  17. RED CARDpublished at 20:22

Swansea 1-1 Sunderland - Kyle Naughton

He got the ball! Yann M'Vila brings the ball down, it bounces maybe knee high and Kyle Naughton nips in and toes the ball away. Yes his foot was raised.

But he won it as clean as you possibly could. But the referee shows him a straight red card! Wow...
