    Bournemouth 0-2 Arsenal

Plenty of possession and urgency from Bournemouth in these first few minutes of the second half. They almost fashion a chance as Dan Gosling attempts to complete a one-two with Benik Afobe, but his return pass is blocked by Laurent Koscielny.

  2. KICK-OFFpublished at 46 mins

Nope, no changes for either side as the hosts get us back up and running.

Will Eddie Howe make any changes? Doesn't look like it as both sets of players jog back out onto the pitch for the second half.

Sam Pauli: Aaron Ramsey's best performance in a long time. Much, much better on the ball. Confident but not stupid. Love it.

Joe Buzzard: Dammit Bournemouth, you had one job...so come back with fury in the second half, yeah?

bel tekle: I wonder how this Arsenal side can handle the total football of Leicester next week...

  5. 'Giggs the man for United?published at 14:23 Greenwich Mean Time 7 February 2016

Chelsea v Man Utd (16:00 GMT)

    Martin Keown
Former Arsenal defender on MOTD2 Extra

"It's not exactly rosy at Manchester United. They're 15 points behind Leicester and out of the Champions League. I'm not sure what's in that note pad of Louis van Gaal's half the time.

"It's a big job for Ryan Giggs, if the plan was for him to take over. I'm not saying he won't be a good manager, but look at what's happened with Gary Neville. Giggs has been an iconic figure at the club, but will they take the plunge and give him the job? I'm not so sure they will."

We will have live text commentary on this game from 15:00 GMT.

Isn't it the right side of the brain that's supposed to be all about creativity?

Plenty of play coming down the Arsenal left wing in that first half...

  7. 'Proper football'published at 14:22 Greenwich Mean Time 7 February 2016

    BBC Radio 5 Live
    Southend manager Phil Brown

"Arsenal are playing real football. It's not just about making 3,000 passes, this. They're getting the ball up to the men up front and there's been plenty of energy going in to support from Sanchez, Ozil, Ramsey and Oxlade-Chamberlain. At the back, there's been a bit of no-nonsense to get the ball into the stands when they need to as well. Proper football."

  8. Ozil the Greatpublished at 14:20 Greenwich Mean Time 7 February 2016

    Mesut Ozil

Mesut Ozil must love Bournemouth. His goal today was his first since 28 December, when Arsenal beat the Cherries 2-0 at Emirates.

    BBC Radio Solent
Ex-Bournemouth defender John Williams at the Vitality Stadium

"At 2-0 down Bournemouth will have just been hoping to avoid the third goal, because then they really would have been dead and buried. Maybe it's time for changes at the break..."

  10. HALF-TIMEpublished at 14:17 Greenwich Mean Time 7 February 2016

    Bournemouth 0-2 Arsenal

Arsenal haven't lost a Premier League game in which they had a two-goal lead at half-time since November 2010.

The stats are on Arsenal's side, but anything can happen.

Great work by Petr Cech as Nacho Monreal fails to pick up Adam Smith on the right and he ghosts on to a pass but his shot is charged down by the Arsenal keeper.

Arsenal are on the attack as two added minutes are shown on the fourth official's board.

  13. Postpublished at 43 mins

    Bournemouth 0-2 Arsenal

Adam Smith has supplied a few good crosses but this is not one of the better ones as he looks for Benik Afobe's run but overhits his pass and the ball goes out of play.

  14. Postpublished at 39 mins

    Bournemouth 0-2 Arsenal

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe is scribbling some notes into his little pad.

Plenty to think about at half-time, with his side just not looking clinical enough in the final third - just one shot on target so far.

    Bournemouth 0-2 Arsenal

A 2-0 lead is a dangerous one to have, just ask Liverpool.

Matt Ritchie has a chance to reduce the deficit but has seemingly left his shooting boots at home as he lashes over from the edge of the area after good work from Charlie Daniels.

"Arsenal are looking very comfortable. The home side need to have a bit of a breather now after chasing after the ball for 20-odd passes- again. What they can do to change the game though..."

  19. Postpublished at 34 mins

    Bournemouth 0-2 Arsenal

A tough balancing attack for Bournemouth. They need to become more adventurous and support Benik Afobe in attack, but at the same time avoid exposing themselves to Arsenal's swift counter.

At the moment, they are leaving Afobe up top by himself, a wise choice as a rampaging Aaron Ramsey run reminds them of how quickly the Gunners can turn defence into attack, however the Cherries could really do with a goal before half-time.

  20. Postpublished at 30 mins

    Bournemouth 0-2 Arsenal

A lucky escape for Bournemouth as Nacho Monreal goes down right on the edge of the area under a challenge by Matt Ritchie. Nothing given.

Moments later, the hosts attack again as Marc Pugh gets the better of Hector Bellerin and bursts into the box, but Monreal gets back quickly to make a vital challenge, although it wouldn't have counted anyway as the referee's whistle goes for an earlier handball by Pugh.
