"The threat of Jamie Vardy is now so well recognised that when he pulled into space away from Laurent Koscielny after Leicester City broke up an Arsenal attack, plenty of home supporters were on their feet in anxiety drawing the defender's attention to the dangers. Drawing attention to it is one thing - stopping it another."

The Arsenal fans are up.... they are back down again.

Mesut Ozil whips the ball in from deep, an unmarked Olivier Giroud back pedals and flicks a header into the net.

The flag is up, Giroud looks bemused... but it is the right decision.

What a block by Wes Morgan.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain does brilliantly to pick out Alexis Sanchez on the penalty spot from a pull back.

The Chilean lets fly but his goal bound strike is stopped by the diving body of Morgan.

From the resulting corner, Olivier Giroud heads over.

While Arsenal are having a lot of the ball, Leicester have shown enough in the opening stages to show they will cause the Gunners problems on the break.

N'Golo Kante doesn't cause anyone any problems though - bar those in row Z - with a shot from 20 yards that flies high and wide.

Former Newcastle manager John Carver: "The game is panning out like we thought it would do. Plenty of possession for Arsenal and then Leicester break and have the best chance of the game.

"I would love to see Leicester win it but, having been a youth coach at Newcastle when we threw it away, my one worry is that it is amazing how all of a sudden personalities change. It was like a holiday camp at Newcastle and then pressure was turned up and everyone got a bit more uptight."

"Good, open game as you would expect. Even when Leicester City are pushed back they still carry that hint of danger, as proved by Arsenal keeper Petr Cech's fine save to keep out Jamie Vardy's header.

"It has settled down a bit here after that lightning start from the Gunners."
