MK Dons manager Karl Robinson speaks to BBC Sport: "This was a free game for us but I'm disappointed as well, I thought we were poor. We almost caused our own problems at times in the game."

On Chelsea in the first half: "It was scary. I've not had that before. They were on it. They were quality all over the pitch. I think one or two of mine let themselves down today but that's the reality of the industry. I have a team to pick to face Cardiff and there are one or two who will be waiting in the wings.

"Defensively today we got carved up far too easy. But there's some stuff we can take away from here and work on."

  8. What did MK Dons miss?published at 18:01 Greenwich Mean Time 31 January 2016

    Paul Ince
Former MK Dons manager on BBC One

"You need the goalkeeper to be outstanding, you need them to miss chances. But where this club was and where they are now, to have just had Chelsea here now and a full house, they'll take that all day long."

    Alan Shearer
Former England striker on BBC One

"It's clever giving Hazard the penalty. When you've been on a dry run as a forward anything will do. I know it's only a penalty but it won't half help him."

    Graeme Le Saux
    Match of the Day

"The two words which summed up Chelsea today were purpose and urgency. They kept plugging away and the quality oozed out of them. MK Dons tried to attack Chelsea, but left too much space. I think they are back now. The atmosphere at the club is good and they really look like they are back on their game."

    MK Dons 1-5 Chelsea

John Terry speaks to BBC Sport in the tunnel: "The majority of the squad know what the FA Cup is about. We had to come out of the blocks and we did, it could have been three or four early on. It's great for Eden to get off the mark, he's just come back from injury and now he can kick on. It's good at the moment, we are playing well. It would nice to be on a cup run, you want to go all the way once you're in it."

  12. 'Horrendous'published at 17:57 Greenwich Mean Time 31 January 2016

    MK Dons 1-5 Chelsea

    Steve Claridge
BBC Radio 5 Live at Stadium MK

"You looked at the sides and feared for MK Dons but let's be honest, they were probably their own worst enemies. Horrendous defending at times and in the end, probably lucky to get away with the score as it stands."

There have been times when Chelsea were a blur coming forward.

Much of their success has been built on good use of the ball, with an average as high as 89% in terms of pass completion.

MK Dons only managed 73%. So was Chelsea's success based on a lack of pressure on the ball? Maybe.
