This has been a very laboured Barca performance - a shadow of the free flowing, breathless action we were treated to against Valencia in their previous game. Another effort on target by Levante - it's an overhead kick by Brazilian Deyverson but it's tame and gobbled up by Bravo.

  2. CLOSE!published at 48 mins

    Levante 0-1 Barcelona

Levante have come out all guns blazing. Claudio Bravo is forced into a full-stretch save after former Manchester United striker Giuseppe Rossi lets fly from outside the area. That's got the home crowd going...they're sensing an equaliser.

  3. KICK-OFFpublished at 46 mins

Will Barca step it up in the second half? We're back under way in sunny Valencia.

A reminder that on Saturday Fernando Torres scored his 100th Atletico Madrid goal as they came from behind to beat Eibar 3-1 and top La Liga with Barcelona.

The striker, on loan from AC Milan, had been waiting for the landmark goal since scoring his 99th against the same opposition back in September.

And it came when the substitute turned home Luciano Vietto's cross from close range in the last minute.

Keko put Eibar ahead, with Jose Gimenez and Saul headers turning it around.

A reminder that we have two more live text commentaries from La Liga coming up later.

Gary Neville is feeling the heat at Valencia and we will have all the action as his side take on struggling Real Betis at 15:00 GMT and then we're off to see how Real Madrid get on away to second bottom Granada (19:30 GMT).

  7. HALF-TIMEpublished at 11:47 Greenwich Mean Time 7 February 2016

    Levante 0-1 Barcelona

No additional minutes. The referee blows right on 45 minutes and Levante, despite trailing, leave the field to rapturous applause from an appreciative home gallery.

Luis Enrique does not look happy. In fact he looks like a boss who is about to deliver an almighty half-time ear bashing to his Barca players.

  9. Postpublished at 41 mins

    Levante 0-1 Barcelona

Free-kick just outside Levante's area. Up steps Messi and Neymar are standing over the ball. It's the latter who steps up...and it's well over. That sums up Barca's half.

  10. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 38 mins

    Levante 0-1 Barcelona

Arsene Wenger will be loving this. Arsenal face Barca in the Champions League later this month - and if this is anything to go by then there is plenty for the Gunners to be optimistic about.

There's a huge scare for Barca as Levante's Jose Luis Morales is clean through but his shot hits the post before rebounding to safety.

    Agony for the hosts.

    Levante 0-1 Barcelona

Who would have thought 10 minutes before half-time that Levante would be leading 6-3 on the shots count? Barca have the lead though and unless the hosts can pull the trigger then Luis Enrique's side are going three points clear at the top with one game in hand.

  12. Postpublished at 34 mins

    Levante 0-1 Barcelona

It's all a little bit uncomfortable for Barca. Midfielder Verza sends a curling free-kick just over the bar. Messi, Neymar and Suarez have hardly got going.

  13. CLOSE!published at 31 mins

    Levante 0-1 Barcelona

This Levante side is showing a barrel load of guts. They look like pulling level as Jefferson Lerma finds himself clear through but drags his shot wide with only Claudio Bravo to beat.

  14. YELLOW CARDpublished at 28 mins

    Levante 0-1 Barcelona

It's all a little bit scrappy - certainly not the fluent, free-flowing Barca we saw against Valencia. There's a yellow card for defender Zou Feddal for a foul on Luis Suarez - and then a booking for Gerard Pique for handball on the edge of his own area.

    Levante 0-1 Barcelona

A great chance for Luis Suarez to make it 20 La Liga goals for the season...but he can't guide Neymar's cross home from close range. That should have been 2-0.

  16. Touch of fortune gives Barca leadpublished at 22 mins

    Levante 0-1 Barcelona

Cruel blow for Levante, who fall behind after a touch of fortune for the leaders. The hosts have done well to keep Barca at bay but Jordi Alba's clever cross at the left-hand byline is turned into the net by the unfortunate David Navarro.

  18. CLOSE!published at 19 mins

    Levante 0-0 Barcelona

Fine full-stretch save from Diego Marino to deny Neymar his 17th La Liga goal of the season soon after Levante's first chance - Deyverson's shot at the near post over the crossbar.

Which Barca players - if any - will join Pep Guardiola at Manchester City?

Charlie: Hopefully none of them. As a Barca fan, I want them to stay where they already are.

NoSoupForYou: He`s been gone 3 years, How many joined him at Bayern in that time..?

Levante are doing a lot better than their neighbours Valencia did at the Nou Camp the other night. Gary Neville's side were 2-0 down after 12 minutes.
