This Real Madrid performance is reminiscent of some of their games I saw under Rafael Benitez earlier in the season...

Granada definitely deserve to be level.

The home fans are baying for blood here as Real Madrid keeper Keylor Navas brings down Isaac Success. But the Costa Rican got a touch with his hand before felling the Nigerian so the referee rightly does not award a spot-kick.

Almost scenes as Granada have the ball in the back of the net - the home fans think it's a famous potential winner but it's ruled out. Youssef El-Arabi was in an offside position.

Luka Modric whips in a great corner but Sergio Ramos heads it over under pressure from a Granada defender.

A minute ago Modric put in Cristiano Ronaldo, but his touch wasn't great and the defence were able to deal with it. He's scored quite a few goals this season but he's not really been on top form.

With that goal, Youssef El-Arabi is now Granada's joint-top scorer in La Liga history with 34 - level with Enrique Porta.

Granada make a change up front as Morocco international Youssef El-Arabi comes on for David Barral.

Unbelievable save from Andres Fernandez to keep his side into it. Luka Modric slips Karim Benzema in and you just expect the Frenchman to score - I'm ready to flash a 'GOAL' entry, but the keeper sticks an arm out to deny his shot from 10 yards out.

Real Madrid left-back Marcelo slips, Isaac Success wins the ball and could he be in? No the referee calls it back for a free out. Poor decision.

Then moments later Karim Benzema can kill the game off but fires the ball into the side netting.

Yet again Granada work out a good chance but can't capitalise. Great defending and quick thinking by Raphael Varane to deny the hosts a shot.

Ruben Rochina then fires a shot over from distance.

Granada keeper Andres Fernandez parries away a cross, it lands to Luka Modric who absolutely thumps a shot in from 25 yards which the keeper does well to save.

Moments into the second half and Granada have a chance. Isaac Success gets the ball, breaks into the box and his shot is deflected wide for a corner. Keylor Navas pulls off a good save from David Barral's header from the corner.
