Gylfi Sigurdsson turns and shoots from inside the box and loops over to the far post, where it's picked up by substitute Mondou Barrow, who can only volley over.

Better from Swansea.

Gary O'Neil, complete with Terry Butcher style bandage, brings down Leroy Fer and is booked.

There's some rough and tumble in the box as Swansea rack up a second corner, which comes to nothing.

Leroy Fer is brought on for the hosts in place of Leon Britton.

Steven Naismith and Jonny Howson play the ball quickly around the Swansea penalty area and eventually Norwich earn a free-kick.

Nathan Redmond whips it in from the left but it's cleared, and as Redmond tries to regain possession he attempts to feed the ball back to keeper John Ruddy, but it goes out for a first Swansea corner.

Russell Martin grapples with Mondou Barrow and the Norwich man earns the booking. 

A booking straight from the kick-off for Norwich's Ryan Bennett after a challenge on an on-rushing Wayne Routledge.

Gylfi Sigurdsson takes the resulting free-kick from about 30 yards out but it is cleared by Timm Klose.

"The travelling Norwich fans seem marginally happier than their rivals at the break, but neither side will be happy with that first-half display. It has been nervy, scrappy and low on quality. You would not be surprised if someone was sent off in the second half, because it has been that sort of game. One goal could well be enough to settle it, as there have been so few chances."

Andre Ayew is brought down on the edge of the area, but much to his disappointment no free-kick is given.

As Ayew tumbles to the floor, Swansea team-mate Angel Rangel let's fly from distance but it goes over the bar.

Probably Norwich's best chance so far.

Cameron Jerome has a go from distance, from the left hand side, and it's pushed away well by Swans keeper Lukasz Fabianski.

It was a lovely lay-off from Steven Naismith in the build-up.

Nathan Redmond tries to tee up Wes Hoolahan on the edge of the box but the Norwich pair make a bit of a mess of it and Swansea regain possession.

Redmond then puts Ivo Pinto through on the right, he whips the ball in at a tight angle but no one in yellow and green can connect.

Plenty of endeavour from the visitors but it's lacking that bit of quality.
