Much better! A bit of life and spark from City as David Silva and Yaya Toure combine to play Sergio Aguero in behind the Kiev defence. He's wide on the right of the box and drags a shot across goal. Not especially close but it brings a huge wave of applause,

Sergio Aguero has been ghostly silent tonight but here's a nice bit of play, picking the ball up on halfway and jagging past a loose tackle to open up the final third. He drives on and is upended by Denys Garmash - who is booked.

Very true, as it stands Manchester City are home and hosed and into the last eight without a moment of concern.

But tonight's game has been a total write-off.

At the break across the Football League, Brighton look set to be in the box seat for a place in the Championship automatic promotion places.

James Wilson has put them ahead against Reading while Hull, third before kick-off, are trailing Nottingham Forest at the break.

It's goalless between Ipswich and Blackburn as is the case in two games in League One.

Oxford lead Dagenham 1-0 with Kemar Roofe scoring the only goal in League Two so far this evening.
