Well, I feared this would be played like a friendly...and it is being played like a friendly. Both teams are just strolling about at the moment, but Barcelona look the most comfortable.
Bayern Munich are ahead in their German Cup match with Bochum, Robert Lewandowski firing in off the post.
The visitors had a penalty saved as well. Could be a long night for Bochum, who have had defender Jan Simunek sent off.
Valencia 0-0 Barcelona
First opportunity of the game for Barcelona as a corner is cleared to Ruben Vezo who, under pressure, skews a shot wide.
Soon after Sergi Roberto dances his way into the Valencia area, but good defending sees him shepherded wide as he shaped to shoot.
Valencia 0-0 Barcelona
...it is cleared but Barcelona still have the ball as Ivan Rakitic plays a neat one-two with Munir and then lets fly from 25 yards. Over.
All Barcelona at the moment.
Valencia 0-0 Barcelona
Munir is brought down on the right side of the area. Dangerous position for a Barcelona free-kick. Ivan Rakitic is on it...
Gary Neville at Valencia
Valencia 0-0 Barcelona
Gary Neville, sitting in the dugout, looks to be chewing his fingernails as Barcelona have a chance after just four minutes.
The visitors had been passing it around nicely in the opening stages without showing too much desire to get forward, but suddenly they attack quickly as Munir El Haddadi breaks towards the edge of the box and squares for Sandro Ramirez, who sidefoots over.
Valencia 0-0 Barcelona
Reaching the semi-finals is probably out of the question, but Gary Neville can ill-afford another hefty defeat. Can he restore some pride with a win?
We are under way.
Valencia v Barcelona (20:00 GMT)
Valencia may be without a win since Gary Neville's arrival and edging closer to the La Liga relegation zone, but the former Manchester United isn't worrying.
His team have gone from the fringes of Champions League qualification to 14th, four points above the relegation zone.
When asked about the prospect of relegation, the former England international responded: "I'm not even considering that.
"I know the situation we're in. I'm desperate to turn these results around. I will turn these results around."
Valencia v Barcelona (20:00 GMT)
So it turns out not many people are interested in watching the second leg of a game where the side playing at home needs to score at least eight goals to win. Who'd have thought it?
Just over 3,000 are in the ground at Valencia, with 10 minutes until kick off...
Elsewhere tonight, seven-times German Cup winners Bayern Munich take on Bochum, who play in the second tier of German football, with a place in the cup semi-finals awaiting the winner. That game has already kicked off.
Meanwhile, French side PSG are also in cup action as they host Lyon in the French Cup (20:05 GMT)
I'll do my best to keep you updated with both.

Valencia v Barcelona (20:00 GMT)
Barcelona boss Luis Enrique may have decided to rest Lionel Messi and company but that doesn't necessary mean he won't be fussed if his side loses tonight.
Sunday's win at Levante equalled a club-record of going 28 games unbeaten, so avoiding defeat tonight would break that record.
"It's the chance to show that we are still competitive in any situation," said Enrique. "We need to forget about the first-leg result and go and play to win like we always do."
If Gary Neville was hoping for an easy ride tonight, it looks like he won't be getting it.
Valencia v Barcelona (20:00 GMT)
This game has the feeling of a friendly, with a minor miracle needed to see Valencia upset the odds and overturn a seven goal deficit. That feeling has been reflected in the teams as both sides make changes.
Most of the Barcelona players, while not first-team regulars, are familiar names.
Midfielder Sergi Samper, who has started in the earlier rounds of the Copa del Rey, gets another chance to impress from the outset.
Valencia XI: Jaume, Vezo, Diallo, Santos, Gaya; Zahibo, Danilo, Villalba; Piatti, Mina, Negredo.
Barcelona XI: Ter Stegen, Rakitic, Bartra, Munir, Sandro, Roberto, Adriano, Aleix Vidal, Vermaelen, Mathieu, Samper
Valencia v Barcelona (20:00 GMT)
Nine league games. No wins.
Gary Neville's first taste of management hasn't gone quite as well as he would have hoped.
The Copa del Rey has, at least offered some respite, or it did until they were drawn against Barcelona and were thumped 7-0 in the first leg of the semi-final.
The good news? Barcelona have rested their first XI for tonight's second leg. The bad news? Their second string is still pretty handy...
