Bournemouth going forward? They've not offered a lot, touching the ball only four times in Tottenham's penalty area in the first 45 minutes.

Plenty for boss Eddie Howe to ponder as he looks for a way back into this one.

    HT: Tottenham 2-0 Bournemouth

Tottenham's attacking threat has been evident throughout the first half, particularly down their left touchline.

Danny Rose (3) and Christian Eriksen (23) have linked up well on the left, with Dele Alli (20) and Harry Kane (10) drifting out there quite a bit too.

Rose, in particular, has got forward at every opportunity, forcing Bournemouth right-winger Matt Ritchie (30) into more defensive work than he'd like.

Easy as you like for Tottenham. Two Harry Kane goals inside the first 16 minutes, and it's been a fairly routine first half for Spurs.

Oh, very nearly 3-0 to Tottenham.

Bournemouth give possession away cheaply, Dele Alli picks the ball up and feeds Harry Kane, who slides a teasing cross towards Christian Eriksen. The Denmark international is a foot away from turning it into an empty net.

One added minute to play at the end of the first half.

The Cherries haven't had an attempt at goal yet.

Christian Eriksen whips in a free-kick from the left and Bournemouth clear at the near post.

Then Dele Alli is on the end of a strong challenge by Simon Francis on the edge of his own box, climbing all over the Spurs and England midfielder, but Neil Swarbrick waves play on.

Even Eric Dier's having pot-shots at goal from 30 yards now, a sign of Tottenham's dominance in the first half. It's blocked out for a throw-in.

As things stand, Leicester's lead at the top will be cut to five points.

Bournemouth haven't tested Spurs goalkeeper Hugo Lloris yet, and a spell of possession in the home side's half comes to very little.

    Tottenham 2-0 Bournemouth

Tottenham look in the mood here, and Bournemouth have little answer.

Erik Lamela should really have done better inside the box, but he was unable to control Harry Kane's lobbed pass and the Cherries cleared.

Here's how Harry Kane's goals were scored.

Number one... Hugo Lloris, to Kyle Walker, to Kane. Looks simple, doesn't it? Well Walker's cross was delicious, and Kane's touch sublime to put Tottenham in front.

Number two... some neat possession at the back, then one superb pass from Dele Alli set Kane away to finish.

It's that man Harry Kane again, latching onto Dele Alli's pass and sliding his left-footed shot low past Artur Boruc.

    Spurs are cruising.

That's five goals in two appearances for Kane against Bournemouth this season. The Cherries must be sick of the sight of him.

Almost all of Tottenham's play in the opening few minutes has come down their left touchline, with Dele Alli and Danny Rose combining well.

Probably the only time they moved it out to the right, in the first minute, they scored.
