Celta Vigo will be disappointed to be trailing. They' missed a great chance to take the lead when Iago Aspas headed against the bar.

It's been far from a fluent Real display but Zinedine Zidane's side have their noses in front. Zidane will be relieved as the crowd was getting ready to vent their frustration at the half-time whistle.

There's more action off the pitch - with the banners and mood of the crowd - than there is on it. Real need a convincing win but they are struggling to unlock a well drilled Celta defence. Chances are at a premium.

This is Zinedine Zidane's 10th La Liga game since the Real Madrid legend took charge in January.

Here's an interesting stat. Real were just two points behind Barcelona when they sacked Rafael Benitez - they're now 12 points adrift.

That is largely down to Barca's unstoppable winning form in 2016, Real taking 20 points from a possible 27 under Zidane. It means Real's most realistic hopes of a trophy this season is the Champions League. Easy peasy then.
