  2. HALF-TIME - Real Madrid 1-0 Celta Vigopublished at 15:48

Celta Vigo will be disappointed to be trailing. They' missed a great chance to take the lead when Iago Aspas headed against the bar.

    Real Madrid 1-0 Celta Vigo

It's been far from a fluent Real display but Zinedine Zidane's side have their noses in front. Zidane will be relieved as the crowd was getting ready to vent their frustration at the half-time whistle.

    Real Madrid 0-0 Celta Vigo

There's more action off the pitch - with the banners and mood of the crowd - than there is on it. Real need a convincing win but they are struggling to unlock a well drilled Celta defence. Chances are at a premium.

    Paris St-Germain v Montpellier (16:00 GMT)

Paris St-Germain will be one win away from a fourth successive Ligue 1 title if they beat Montpellier this afternoon.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is left out of Laurent Blance's starting line-up, presumably with half an eye on PSG's Champions League game at Chelsea next Wednesday night.

Chelsea lead 2-1 after the first leg of their last-16 tie.

  9. YELLOW CARDpublished at 28 mins

    Real Madrid 0-0 Celta Vigo

Real, despite dominating possession, have done little to lift their fans. It's a stop-start game and Cristiano Ronaldo is being well marshalled by Celta's defence. Two yellow cards in quick succession for Real - Danilo and Pepe.

  10. GREAT SAVE!published at 22 mins

    Real Madrid 0-0 Celta Vigo

Tremendous by Ruben Blanco as he denies Cristiano Ronaldo and Isco in quick succession. The Celta keeper beats away Ronaldo's fiercely struck attempt from just outside the box before using his reflexes to frustrate Isco from close range.

The sun is out at the Bernabeu but more jeers break out in the crowd as another Real move breaks down. They are in an unforgiving mood.

  13. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 16 mins

    Real Madrid 0-0 Celta Vigo

Celta Vigo so close to taking the lead.

Unmarked former Liverpool forward Iago Aspas sends a header against Real's bar before being denied by Keylor Navas with the rebound.

Shocking defending by Real which has done little to lift the flat mood inside the Bernabeu.

There's mutiny in the air at the Bernabeu.

Here's another banner aimed at club president Florentino Perez after a disappointing domestic campaign.

    Real Madrid 0-0 Celta Vigo

Real, predictably, are dominating possession. Cristiano Ronaldo wiggles past one defender inside Celta's box before crashing to the ground. No penalty.

It's a far from full Bernabeu Stadium. There's lots and lots of empty plastic blue seats. Real have started brightly. One wild shot over the bar while Lucas Vazquez charged into the Celta area before seeing a cross cut out for a corner.

  18. KICK-OFFpublished at 1 min

    Real Madrid 0-0 Celta Vigo

It's a blustery day in the Spanish capital. Spring has not quite sprung. Zinedine Zidane looks resplendent in a navy blue suit. Can his side turn on the style on the pitch? We're under way.

Real Madrid v Celta Vigo (15:00 GMT)

Celta Vigo are no mugs. Eduardo Berizzo's side stuck four goals past Barcelona earlier this season and they currently sit sixth in La Liga.

Their line-up features former Liverpool forward Iago Aspas who has nine league goals to his name this season.

This is Zinedine Zidane's 10th La Liga game since the Real Madrid legend took charge in January.

Here's an interesting stat. Real were just two points behind Barcelona when they sacked Rafael Benitez - they're now 12 points adrift.

That is largely down to Barca's unstoppable winning form in 2016, Real taking 20 points from a possible 27 under Zidane. It means Real's most realistic hopes of a trophy this season is the Champions League. Easy peasy then.
