Middlesbrough are showboating. Adam Clayton tears open the Wolves defence to find Gaston Ramirez who plays George Friend in the box but he fires wide. The whole passing movement was like something you'd see in the Nou Camp, not at the Riverside..
In contrast, Wolves are completely ineffective up front. They have failed to score in their last three away league matches and it's showing. Could this be a fourth?

Wow. What. A. Goal. Gaston Ramirez strolls through the Wolves defence far too easily, plays a clever one-two with George Friend and curls a lovely ball into the back of Carl Ikeme's net.
That is quite a finish.

Emilio Nsue wrong-foots Jeremy Helan and runs goal-bound but Kortney Hause pulls off a superb sliding tackle to clear the danger.

A magnificent save from Wolves keeper Carl Ikeme just seconds after the restart! Jordan Rhodes latches on to Albert Adomah's curled cross into the box and the Middlesbrough striker's close-range header is well-saved by Ikeme.

The only goal of the game came on 14 minutes when Jon Toral's low, left-footed drive went in off ex-Blues defender Curtis Davies.

It's been a dominant display from Aitor Karanka's side who lead through Gaston Ramirez's header. Meanwhile, Wolves have looked lifeless and without a clear plan on how they are going to break Middlesbrough down and force an equaliser.
Will there be any half-time changes? We shall see in around 15 minutes.
Gaston Ramirez curls a shot in at Carl Ikeme which the Wolves keeper saves, but he screams at his defenders.
Half time approaches shortly - Boro boss Aitor Karanka will be extremely happy with his side's first-half performance.
George Friend launches a pinpoint-accurate delivery into the path of Jordan Rhodes, but the ball clips the Scotsman's heels and the attack fizzles out.
With only one marker, that could have been a very dangerous attack for Middlesbrough.
Wolves really have their work cut out if they are to get anything, here. Despite a few minutes of posession, the front three of Jeremy Helan, Bjorn Sigurdarson and Nathan Byrne just aren't making enough penetrative runs into the Middlesbrough box and when they do, they're far too easily closed down.

Kevin McDonald bosses his way through the midfield but Wolves just can't seem to find a way through the Middlesbrough back-line. Former Wolves man George Friend is untroubled by Bjorn Sigurdarson and the hosts clear the ball once more.
There is quite the atmosphere inside the Riverside tonight. Middlesbrough's supporters are in fine voice - and why not? It's been a comfortable opening half hour for the hosts. Wolves have provided little attacking threat.
Jeremy Helan gallops through the left wing like Jeremy Corbyn atop a horse...but it comes to nothing as Nathan Byrne quickly loses possession after the Frenchman's neat lay-off.
