Three of Bournemouth's final five games after this are against Liverpool (home), Chelsea (home) and Manchester United (away). They could do with securing another season in the Premier League by taking three points at Villa Park.

This game really is crying out for a goal.

It's now 1-1 in terms of bookings as Bournemouth's Charlie Daniels trips Scott Sinclair.

The good news for Villa is that it remains goalless between Crystal Palace and Norwich. Remember, Norwich have to better Villa's result to relegate the Premier League's bottom club today.

First caution of the game as Steve Cook goes in strongly on Idrissa Gueye.

The Villa player climbs to his feet to create a chance for Kieran Richardson but the former Manchester United and Sunderland can't keep his shot down.

Villa haven't looked like finding the net in the first 25 minutes and have now gone more than six and a half hours without scoring. 

This game is in desperate need of quality. Both teams are struggling to keep possession and create any meaningful chances.

After the six-goal feast at Upton Park earlier, this is a drab, scrappy contest.

Don Gosling drags his shot wide from distance. Both teams have enjoyed spells of possession but chances are at a premium.

Ashley Westwood finds Row Z from 20-yards out. Villa, to be fair, are competing even though they are all but down.

Bournemouth know victory here will all but secure another season in the Premier League.

The visitors, wearing blue and black colours, have started well. They are creating chances down both flanks but there's been little in the way of chances so far.

Ten minutes gone here and at Selhurst Park, where Norwich are drawing 0-0 with Crystal Palace.

As it stands, Villa are 15 points from safety with five games remaining after this.

Villa Park is filling up as fans take their seats after staying away for the first seven minutes. 

It's fair to say they haven't missed much. 

Bournemouth's first serious threat almost results in a goal.

Nice lay-off by Max Gradel to Lewis Grabban who forces a full length diving save from Brad Guzan after letting fly from outside the area.

It's eerily quiet inside Villa Park.

The home side break and Idrissa Gueye sends a half-volley over after Cissokho and Richardson link up well.

It doesn't improve the mood inside the ground.
