Former Norwich striker on Final Score

"I think Everton have totally underachieved this season. As manager Martinez has to take responsibility, they can't see games through.

"I think a lot of his problem is the rubbish he talks after the games, I think he has lost credibility with the supporters because of that."

    Martin Fisher
    Match of the Day commentator

"This looks like being one of those days when the match is a sideshow.

"There is a growing hostility towards Roberto Martinez amongst Evertonians frustrated by their lowly league position, angered by their awful home record, embarrassed by their derby defeat and not at all placated by two brilliant cup runs that brought semi-final heartbreak.

"There will be banners, there will be chants and the mood could turn nasty - especially if Bournemouth inflict a ninth defeat on Everton at Goodison Park.

"And as Steve McClaren discovered to his cost last month, the smallest club in the Premier League are well capable of banging in the final nail."

Poor Bobby Martinez. He's taking more flak than a husband who forgot to take the wet washing out of the machine. And even the Goodison scoreboard is sticking the boot in. Disgruntled fans have been spamming the scoreboard, as Daily Mail sports journalist Joe Strange has spotted.
