Five minutes have been played without an effort at goal. That's not on, these players need to get their act together.

  2. Postpublished at 30 mins

    Norwich 2-1 Watford

Half an hour gone and there has been three goals and Nathan Redmond has hit the post twice. Norwich were going down to the Championship after 11 minutes, but have hit back to cling on to survival.

    I LOVE FOOTBALL!

What are Watford playing at??? It looks like they have thoughts about heading to the beach on their jollies already.

Mario Suarez's clearance is awful and goes straight to a Norwich player. It allows Nathan Redmond to go through on goal and strike against the post. Should have scored really.

Full-back Martin Olsson follows up with a stunning drive that's heading for the top corner, but Heurelho Gomes leaps to his left to push the ball away.

  4. Postpublished at 24 mins

    Norwich 2-1 Watford

Concern for Norwich as striker Dieumerci Mbokani gets poked in the air during an aerial challenge with Miguel Britos.

That was inside the box and the home fans bay for a penalty, but referee Roger East is unmoved.

After receiving some treatment - and eye drops - Mbokani gets his bearings back and is up on his feet.

I nearly fell asleep watching Norwich's last game at home against Manchester United on Saturday.

This one has so much excitement it's going to keep me up tonight. What a match we have on our hands.

  7. CLOSE!published at 20 mins

Oof, goals galore and almost another. Nathan Redmond drives an effort just wide of goal for Norwich.

    A breathless contest.

    Dieumerci Mbokani (18 mins)

    Goodness me.

From getting relegated seven minutes ago, Norwich respond in stunning fashion to keep their Premier League status alive.

It's all Nathan Redmond again as he stands up a Watford defender, before striking against the post, and Congolese striker Dieumerci Mbokani says 'thank you very much' to slide and slot the ball into the net.

"We are staying up," screamed the home fans pre kick-off. It's on so far.

"It was the first piece of play by Norwich but they have reacted, they had to. The keeper has not done himself any favours, it is straight through his legs. Two poor goalkeeping displays so far."

    Nathan Redmond (15 mins)

Come on keeper, what is that??

From one John Ruddy howler, to another at the other end by Heurelho Gomes.

Norwich play some beautiful football in the build-up to the goal as Steven Naismith and Nathan Redmond exchange passes.

Redmond is put through on goal by the Scot and his shot goes through the goalkeeper at the front post to spark wild celebrations at Carrow Road.

"The Norwich defence is awful, the two centre-backs have been caught apart. Troy Deeney and Odion Ighalo were two against one. John Ruddy comes out and it was a little flick by Ighalo and the easiest of tap-ins for Deeney.

"It was soporific until that point and the players are as sleepy as the crowd."

    Troy Deeney (11 mins)

    Gift, an absolute gift.

See what I wrote two minutes ago about Norwich conceding soft goals this season? They've just gone and done it again.

Skipper Troy Deeney nods the ball onto his partner Odion Ighalo, who chases the ball in on goal. Goalkeeper John Ruddy comes out to meet him and fumbles the ball, which drops nicely into the path of the gleeful Deeney, who tucks into an open net.

Who says the Norwich players have no fight?

Gary O'Neil launches into a scything tackle...into his own player Nathan Redmond.

Ooh, the winger has come off badly there and limps off the pitch

Let's wait and see how much discomfort it has caused him.

  16. CLOSE!published at 8 mins

    Norwich 0-0 Watford

Norwich's problem this season has been conceding soft goals and they almost do so once again when Watford skipper Troy Deeney strikes an effort from around 30 yards out.

Home goalkeeper John Ruddy nearly makes a hash of it as he is unsighted, but can grab the ball at the second attempt.

    Norwich 0-0 Watford

First corner of the game goes to Watford as striker Dieumerci Mbokani helps Norwich out at the back with a header away from Jose Jurado's cross.

The resulting set piece is no problems for John Ruddy though, who rises above the crowd of players to pluck the ball out of the darkening Norfolk sky.

    Norwich 0-0 Watford

If Norwich do go down, you'd think a top-flight side will pick up Nathan Redmond for next season - a decent player who has been linked with Stoke.

His pace is causing problems early on as Watford defender Miguel Britos chops him down in the opposition half.

It's a poor free-kick though and the visitors clear their lines.

  19. Postpublished at 2 mins

Norwich boss Alex Neil barks out early instructions to his players from the sidelines. The home fans are in good voice, despite the lingering smell of relegation in the air at Carrow Road.
