    Another great chance created by Middlesbrough but Jordan Rhodes seemingly takes a glorious opportunity for a far post finish off Albert Adomah.

    The Scotland striker tries to finish with a diving header, but Adomah was there waiting had he noticed.

    Birmingham have also taken the lead against Preston - big striker Clayton Donaldson tapping in for Blues.

    First 10 minutes gone at Turf Moor and Gaston Ramirez can't quite get on the end of Grant Leadbitter's delivery from a free-kick for Middlesbrough. Took a deflection on way through and Albert Adomah strikes the bar from the resulting corner.

    Tom Heaton was a beaten man in the Burnley goal.

    Not much to report from the Amex with both sides conceding possession too easily.

    A word of warning for QPR though, the hosts made a slow start against Fulham on Friday and ended up winning 5-0.

    Into League Two for a moment and York captain Russ Penn has had some strong things to say about the team's demise.

    The former Cheltenham man told BBC Radio York: "If we are given the shirt on a Saturday then we have got to go out there and give it our all. That hasn't been the case for 80% of the time.

    "Footballers, bar a few, are quite weak in terms of mentality.

    "At this level you have got to work hard. There are teams in this league who do not have half the squad we do and they are staying up. I don't need to say any more."

    If York fail to beat Portsmouth tonight, they drop out of the Football League.
