"It was a good run by Arnautovic and he put it across the six yard box and I don’t know what Joselu has done with it. He has got it high and wide."

    Great chance for Stoke.

Marko Arnautovic is flying down the wing and places a great crosses for Joselu but the Spaniard screws the ball horribly wide from close range.

City's defence was caught out badly there. The Real Madrid scout will be making notes about that.

That's Premier League goal No 101 for Sergio Aguero in Manchester City colours. Perfectly placed penalty which gave Shay Given no chance.

Is there a more terrifying sight for a defender than Sergio Aguero powering at full speed into the penalty area?

Stoke's defenders back off but Aguero loses his footing, just as he is about to shoot.

Fernando's goal has lifted the hosts - and the crowd.

It's been a bit of a slog so far for Manchester City, who are far from their best but Stoke face a long, hard battle to get back into this.

    That's more like it.

Stoke fall asleep at a corner and Fernando gets the better of Geoff Cameron to place a glancing header beyond Shay Given.

Mark Hughes will be furious. His players had defended so well up to that point.
