It's the final day of the Premier League season and there promises to be a rather special day for one man on his old stomping ground.

Claudio Ranieri and his champions Leicester City are set to receive a guard of honour from Chelsea, the club he was sacked by in 2004, before their match at Stamford Brdige today.

While the only thing really riding on that match is Chelsea's battle for the hallowed ninth place with Stoke, Manchester City and Manchester United are fighting it out for fourth.

All City have to do this afternoon to secure Champions League football is to avoid defeat at Swansea, but Louis van Gaal's United will be waiting to pounce if they slip up.   

Ben Thompson has had a solid first half, and the Lions academy graduate has had a memorable breakthrough season, culminating in him earning the title of the Football League's young player of the month for April.

"Phil Parkinson's words at half-time will be important because there's still three halves of football to play in this tie.

"It's important that the message is right, he's got to calm the players down a bit, and if Bradford can get the next goal then it's a different tie.

"The performance hasn't merited the scoreline - Bradford have played well and have created the bulk of the chances, but to be fair to Millwall, they've been potent in front of goal."

The whistle brings an end to a fascinating first half. Millwall have been mightily impressive.

Bradford have plenty of thinking to do, after seeing their 13th-minute lead well and truly wiped out.

The noise is all coming from the away end now. They are very happy Londoners.

We are into three minutes of added time at the end of the first half.

"It's a fantastically-executed free-kick, and it's exactly what Bradford didn't want.

"If they can get the next goal in the second half, it's a different tie again altogether."

At the other end, Millwall win a free-kick 20 yards out as Lee Gregory is hit with a high foot.

Bradford win a corner and, as it is whipped in, Lee Evans has space to head towards goal but from 10 yards out he can't direct his header near the net - it's well wide.

Well, it's gone a bit quiet in the past few minutes. The game has slowed down.

Millwall won't mind that - they want to take this lead in with them at the break.

This chap is certainly a happy fella, 40 minutes in. Neil Harris' side have produced for him so far.

How can Bradford respond to falling behind? Things had looked so rosy for the hosts, when they took that 13th-minute lead. You sense this period before half-time is a crucial part of the whole tie.

The scoreline is not an unfair reflection on the balance of play. It's been pretty even - but the combination up top for Millwall of Lee Gregory and Steve Morison has created four openings and they're both a real handful for the Bantams defence.

"That's a fantastic header. Morison started the whole move off because he won the corner.

"It's a well-timed run - perhaps too much space for him to run into at the near post - and he steers his header past the goalkeeper."

It is. Bradford opt for a pass sideways, attempting what is presumably a training ground routine, but it doesn't come off and eventually they concede possession, with the offside flag raised.
