Their first Scottish Championship match-up of the season the following month ended in a 1-0 Rangers win, James Tavernier's free-kick the difference.
Hibs and Rangers end the season as they started it - facing each other.
They opened their respective campaigns with a Challenge Cup tie at Easter Road in July and Martyn Waghorn scored twice in Rangers' 6-2 win.

On-loan Tottenham defender Dominic Ball is missing for Rangers through suspension. Wingers Michael O'Halloran and Billy King are cup-tied, while midfielders Harry Forrester and David Templeton remain sidelined through injury.
Hibs' only absentee is striker Farid El Alagui, who has a hamstring complaint.
