I can't take my eyes off this game. The Hammers are a much more exciting team with Payet in it - he seems to inspire his team-mates.

All West Ham at the moment as Michail Antonio has a shot charged down from outside the area and then Odion Ighalo fouls Mark Noble 25 yards out.

    Dimitri Payet territory.

Manuel Lanzini's improvised shot from the edge of the area goes just wide.

That would have been some goal from the West Ham man as he powerfully flicked the ball with his right foot.

It's 50 metres from the touchline back to the dugouts at the London Stadium.

    It's non-stop here.

    Michail Antonio

Well, we were talking before the game about how dangerous Michail Antonio is with his head and he's just shown why again.

The England call-up is unmarked from Dimitri Payet's corner and his deflected header creeps past Gomes.

  13. West Ham 0-0 Watfordpublished at 4 mins

At the other end Odion Igalo drives a low effort into the side netting from a tight angle.

Just two league goals in 2016 for the Nigerian.

  14. West Ham 0-0 Watfordpublished at 2 mins

Nearly a fantastic start here from West Ham.

Michail Antonio is released by an overhead kick from debutant Simone Zaza and forces a low save from Gomes.

The ball comes back to West Ham but Gomes is equal to Dimitri Payet's deflected effort.

West Ham haven't been their usual dynamic selves this season. But Dimitri Payet will inject something really exciting today. I fancy the Hammers to beat Watford

Of course, all those games took place at Upton Park and not the Hammers' new home the London Stadium.

West Ham v Watford (15:00 BST)

We asked supporters of Premier League and Scottish Premiership clubs to use BBC Sport's team selector to tell us whether they were satisfied with their squad, via a simple tick or cross for each position.

    The results are in.

Hammers fans are satisfied with the defence, delighted with the midfield, and worried about the attack.

At Watford, 97.3% of fans were happy with the left-hand side of the three centre-backs in their 3-5-2 formation. No other outfield position was rated so highly.

Who's the most dangerous player in the air in the Premier League. Andy Carroll?

Right club. Wrong man. In fact Michail Antonio has scored a league-high eight headed goals since the start of last season.

Indeed, no English midfielder has scored more Premier League goals than Antonio since August 2015 (10, level with Dele Alli).

West Ham v Watford (15:00 BST)

    Jonathan Pearce
Match of the Day commentator at the London Stadium

"Both clubs have concerns. It'll take time for West Ham to settle at their new stadium. Moving Slaven Bilic's dugout closer to the touchline would help - he is so isolated from his players.

"He also needs to find a settled side, having used five formations in all competitions so far.

"Watford have turned over 50 transfers in 13 months - too many. They look muddled. Two league wins in 15 is also deeply concerning.

"Of the new boys, West Ham's Zaza didn't impress at Juventus, unlike Watford's Okaka at Anderlecht. He once scored a winner for Fulham against West Ham. Could he inspire another victory?"
