Better from the Baggies - Nacer Chadli shoots from distance and Simon Francis has to stick a foot out to concede a corner. The hosts clear, and Jordan Ibe races clear, eventually crossing towards Callum Wilson. Ben Foster is alert and drops onto the ball, just ahead of the Cherries' striker

Callum Wilson should have put Bournemouth ahead - it was a sitter on the rebound. Bournemouth have definitely been the better side and Albion are not showing enough threat due to Berahino’s isolation.

  11. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:49 British Summer Time 10 September 2016

    Bournemouth 0-0 West Brom

A lively end to a half that, in terms of possession, Bournemouth have dominated.

  12. CLOSE!published at 45+1 mins

Saido Berahino is just a few inches over the bar with a left-footed volley from inside the box at the end of a rare concerted attack from the Baggies.

Saido Berahino is looking isolated. He needs players from midfield to push up and offer him some support. He’s making good runs and getting into good positions but he needs help - he can’t do it all himself

  14. CLOSE!published at 44 mins

    Bournemouth 0-0 West Brom

Callum Wilson has two chances, forcing Foster into a save that Junior Stanislas then lashes back goalwards. Wilson then puts the ball across, but Jonny Evans makes a vital interception to put the ball to safety.

  15. Postpublished at 41 mins

    Bournemouth 0-0 West Brom

Junior Stanislas hits the post - sort of. He lashes a shot from outside the box well wide, and it hits the upright holding up the roof behind Ben Foster's goal. Not one for the end-of-season DVD.

  16. Postpublished at 40 mins

    Bournemouth 0-0 West Brom

The cameras pick up Jack Wilshere on the bench - will this game see the kind of craft and guile he could bring to it?

  17. Postpublished at 39 mins

    Bournemouth 0-0 West Brom

A collector's item from Saido Berahino - a shot, at last, but the striker's long-range effort floats over Artur Boruc's bar.

  18. Postpublished at 15:38 British Summer Time 10 September 2016

    Bournemouth 0-0 West Brom

Another Jordan Ibe run ends with a pass to Joshua King, who cuts on to his right foot to drive a low shot straight at Ben Foster.

    Tony Brown
Former West Brom striker on BBC WM 95.6

Jordan Ibe looks like he’s worth every penny Bournemouth paid for him - he’s got the beating of the youngster Galloway every time.

  20. Postpublished at 32 mins

Jordan Ibe gets the better of Brendan Galloway on the right. His cross nearly gets to Callum Wilson but Jonny Evans concedes another corner, which yet again West Brom clear.
