"St Johnstone defender Brad McKay has left the club. Inverness Caledonian Thistle are known to be keen on signing the former Hearts centre-half.

"And, still in the Highlands, Ross County are believed to be keen on signing Hearts midfielder Prince Buaben, who still has a year to run on his contract.

"Also at Tynecastle, Juanma and Juwon Oshaniwa are available and there is interest in both of these players.

"St Mirren have turned down a bid believed to be in the region of £100,000 from Dundee for midfielder Stevie Mallan.

"Dundee are still showing an interest in Tom Hateley. There's also interest in the former Motherwell defender from Hibernian and Partick Thistle."

  9. 'Masses of potential'published at 14:08 British Summer Time 29 August 2016

Nottingham Forest's double European Cup winner John McGovern on Oliver Burke: "It's a massive step.

"He's got masses of potential. He has to be consistent and he has to get better at one or two of the things that he's not so good at.

"He's an impact player with fantastic pace. I think he might even give Usain Bolt a run for his money.

"You need to be able to have an end product to that pace and he's been scoring one or two goals for the first team.

"It is an awful lot of money and it will be well spent if he realises his potential. He's got a good chance of becoming a very, very good player."

  13. McFadden on Burkepublished at 12:30 British Summer Time 29 August 2016

    Richard Wilson
    BBC Scotland

Motherwell assistant manager James McFadden on Oliver Burke's move to RB Leipzig for £13m: "He'll come into the (Scotland) camp full of confidence.

"(Well boss and Scotland assistant manager) Mark McGhee is a massive fan of him and I don't think he'll be surprised that he's gone for the amount of money he has. "He said he feels he can go all the way to the top. Comparisons have been made with Gareth Bale and according to Mark he's not surprised and won't be surprised if he goes the same way that he did. "He'll learn a new culture and develop in a good way, hopefully, for Scotland. "Going over to a different country and learning a new way of playing the game will be great for his development. "He's got a great physique and he looks as though he's got all the attributes to become a real top player. The fact that he's made the move at such a young age will tell you all you need to know about him."
