Summary

  • Hart mistake leads to equaliser

  • Hart sent wrong way by Atalanta penalty

  1. CLOSE!published at 50 mins

    Atalanta 0-0 Torino

Big chance for Atalanta but Mauricio Pinilla heads wastefully over from close range. Had that been on target, Hart would surely have been beaten.

  2. Postpublished at 48 mins

    Atalanta 0-0 Torino

Atalanta win an early free-kick about 30 yards out. Hart barks out instructions and waves his arms around as he helps organise the wall. It comes to nothing. Just like the entertainment value of this match.

  3. KICK-OFFpublished at 46 mins

    Atalanta 0-0 Torino

It has started raining in Bergamo as the second half gets under way.

  4. 'Let's go'published at 15:08 British Summer Time 11 September 2016

    Atalanta 0-0 Torino

Joe Hart is in the tunnel with his Torino team-mates at the start of the second half. "Come on, let's go," he shouts. Whether they understand him I'm not entirely sure.

  5. Rain and hail at Romapublished at 15:02 British Summer Time 11 September 2016

There's five games under way in Serie A but the only goals so far have come at Roma where Sampdoria lead 2-1. But will the match finish?

Where next for Joe Hart when his season-long loan at Torino ends?

Andy Watson: Have people forgotten how bad joe hart was for england this summer?Clearly bravo isnt better but he suits peps style. End of.

Andy White: David de Gea to Real Madrid then Joe Hart to Man Utd...

  7. HALF-TIMEpublished at 14:51 British Summer Time 11 September 2016

    Atalanta 0-0 Torino

Torino have not kept a clean sheet in Serie A since 16 April but they are 45 minutes away from one in Joe Hart's first game. There's a let-off for Hart on the stroke of half time as Franck Kessie scoops the ball over from close range but it's been a steady start for the England keeper who has not had an awful lot to do.

Mistake by Hart as he slices the ball out of play with no players around him. He responds by taking a long hard look at his boots.

  9. Postpublished at 41 mins

    Atalanta 0-0 Torino

Joe Hart is furiously chewing gum as he hoofs the ball forward before a misunderstanding with a defender almost leads to chaos in the Torino area. Hart responds with a few sharp words in English. His team-mate looks bemused.

  10. Postpublished at 37 mins

    Atalanta 0-0 Torino

It's fair to say both Atalanta and Torino will not be challenging seriously for silverware this season on this evidence. Plenty of huff and puff by both team but little quality.

  11. Postpublished at 34 mins

    Atalanta 0-0 Torino

Drama as Torino's boss Sinisa Mihajlovic is sent packing from his technical area for arguing with the match officials. He is jeered by the home fans as walks around the ground before finding a seat to watch the rest of the match.

    Atalanta 0-0 Torino

It's a pretty warm day in Bergamo and the game has stopped so the players can have a drinks break. That doesn't happen much in Manchester. Joe Hart is learning as he goes along.

  13. CLOSE!published at 27 mins

    Atalanta 0-0 Torino

It's been a quiet opening for Joe Hart but he makes a comfortable save to deny a rather tame effort from Mauricio Pinilla before the dangerous Franck Kessie fires into Hart's side netting with the keeper rooted to the spot.

Where next for Joe Hart when his season-long loan at Torino ends?

Kieron Haskins: If he has a good season in Italy, Juventus.

Jordan: Come back to the Premier League and prove people wrong.

Harry Stott: Manchester City need him back the way Claudio Brvao performed yesterday.

  15. CLOSE!published at 21 mins

    Atalanta 0-0 Torino

First serious problem for Joe Hart and he deals with it well as it keeps out a low cross inside the area by Franck Kessie. It's pin-ball inside the Torino area but the visitors survive as a shot flies wide with Hart at full stretch.

Pretty tedious so far at the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d'Italia. Nothing like Saturday's Manchester derby which is where Joe Hart surely wishes he had been playing in. This is more like Stoke against West Brom.

  17. 'Come back Joe Hart'published at 15 mins

    Atalanta 0-0 Torino

Joe Hart might have been absent from Manchester City's win over neighbours Manchester United at Old Trafford on Saturday, but Claudio Bravo's unconvincing debut ensured he was still in the thoughts of some former players and journalists.

Former England captain Gary Lineker: Breaking News: Joe Hart's loan to Torino to be cut short!

Telegraph northern football correspondent James Ducker: Great game, City deserved to win, some spellbinding football, but Bravo should have been sent off & conceded pen. Come back Joe Hart.

Former Manchester United keeper Peter Schmeichel: I wonder what Joe Hart is thinking...

Telegraph chief football writer Sam Wallace: Joe Hart looks up at TV, shakes his head, & goes back to the problematic issue of twiddling spaghetti around a fork while wearing GK gloves.

    Atalanta 0-0 Torino

Are you watching Pep? Joe Hart has the ball in his hands. He throws it down inside his area and plays it to a nearby defender with his feet.

    Atalanta 0-0 Torino

So far, so good for Joe Hart. Ten minutes in and he has not had a single save to make.

  20. YELLOW CARDpublished at 8 mins

    Atalanta 0-0 Torino

Torino are certainly not shy at getting stuck in. The tackles are flying and the referee has his work cut out. Cesare Bovo receives an early yellow after hacking down Chile forward Mauricio Pinilla, who is wearing Atalanta's No 51 shirt.
