What a week it's been for Celtic. After a thrilling Champions League draw with Manchester City in midweek, Brendan Rodgers' men secured a hard-earned three points with victory at Dundee to maintain their unbeaten start to the league season.

Aberdeen's handsome victory over Kilmarnock kept them within four points of the champions, and left Killie just a point above the bottom.

Partick Thistle remain bottom after going down to Rangers, who move up to fifth.

St Johnstone's superb away form continued with victory over Ross County, and Inverness CT struck in stoppage time to snatch a point at Hamilton.

"It's not enough, we know that, we need to do better, to see games out. I thought again we did enough to win the game. But obviously we got hit again in injury time, which was disappointing.

"We didn't lose the goal because tactically we were unaware or were undone. Sometimes all you can say is maybe Lady Luck isn't on our side at the minute."

"It was a great away performance. We were dominant in both boxes and scored some great goals. Some of our play was sparkling. 

"(on the penalty) I don't think my player committed a foul. I thought the keeper had it, then he didn't, then he pulls James down. Whether or not he can score from that position is up for a debate.

"But it's wrong to dwell on the penalty when we scored three goals afterwards."

The reason there was a lack of protest from the Killie fans towards director Michael Johnston was because he did not turn up at the game.

He was missing from his seat in the directors box and although there was a chant of "Johnston must go" six minutes into the game from Killie supporters. 

When they noticed Johnston was absent they thought they would just turn their attention to supporting the team. Johnston did attend the club's board meeting on Friday.

Celtic's victory against Dundee leaves them four points clear at the top of the Premiership this evening with a game in hand over their nearest rivals.

Aberdeen move back above Hearts into second after a thumping win at Kilmarnock.

At the bottom Partick Thistle remain without a win since the opening day after going down 2-0 at Rangers. Kilmarnock and Dundee are just a point above them though.

After a run of four winless Premiership games Rangers get back to winning way with a routine victory over Partick Thistle at Ibrox. Niko Kranjcar and Andy Halliday with the goals for Mark Warburton's men, who move up to fifth in the table.

It's now six games without a win for Thistle, who remain rock bottom of the table.

St Johnstone remain in fourth after victory at Victoria Park, but it's five matches without a win for County, who drop out of the top six.

Ali Crawford almost snatches the win at the death for Hamilton, but Liam Polworth's ensures Inverness leave New Douglas Park with a point.

Aberdeen are back up to second, with Adam Rooney on target twice in what is their 11th consecutive win over Kilmarnock.

The home side will feel aggrieved about the penalty for the opening goal but they were second best by a long, long way.

That's a blow for Accies, losing keeper Remi Matthews for the final 10 minutes. They're trying to keep just a second clean sheet of the season. Robbie Thomson, with his first touch pulls off a great save to prevent a Caley Thistle equaliser.

It looks all over for County, who have to end the game with 10 men as Liam Boyce is unable to recover from injury with manager Jim McIntyre having already made all three subs.

Away from the football there is some dreadful news as 18 people have been taken to hospital after a coach carrying Rangers supporters overturned in East Ayrshire.
