Well, Alvaro Negredo has managed to break his goalscoring duck. Can Jamie Vardy do the same in the second half? Leicester finally got themselves going as the half wore on. They'll need to show a bit more to win this one, though.

Boro look to catch the hosts on the counter attack, forcing Marc Albrighton to snuff out the danger. Albeit with a foul on Gaston Ramirez. A deserved booking for the former Aston Villa winger.

Boro spark into life down the right flank. Adama Traore's pace takes him past Christian Fuchs and Leicester keeper Ron-Robert Zieler parries his cross-shot away from goal. Marten de Roon subsequently picks the ball on the edge of the box, only to sweep his effort well wide of goal.

With mission accomplished in the Champions League ahead of schedule, it's time for Leicester to concentrate on improving their surprisingly poor league position.
Claudio Ranieri said he 'expected difficulties (this season), but not so strong', with his team losing half of their league games so far.
The Foxes' 12-point haul is just less than half the total they had at this stage last season.
Meanwhile, a fourth consecutive away draw might be the best Boro can hope for as the Premier League's joint lowest scorers try to get past a defence that has only been breached four times in the league at home all season.

Comedian and Boro fan Bob Mortimer, who is in the away end at the King Power, will certainly be hoping Negredo can rediscover his shooting boots in front of goal to lift his spirits on a chilly afternoon in the East Midlands.

Middlesbrough head coach Aitor Karanka on forward Alvaro Negredo, who has failed to score in 10 straight starts: "When a striker is not scoring goals he is always going to have his critics, just like when a team is not winning a manager is going to have his critics.
"Everybody has to understand we are not a top team going five or 10 times in the opponents' box - we have to wait for our chances.
"Leicester are not in a good moment so we will have to arrive more times in the opponents' box and he is going to score goals for sure in the way that he is working."

"He has started to also score in training, and that is good news because also, in the training, he didn't score so well. Jamie is always normal, the same last season. You don't see him nervous or frustrated.
"But sooner or later Vardy will come back. I speak every day with him. He is very calm, very concentrated in his job, to work for the team."
