    Unbelievable stuff!

Manchester City have been carved and cut open by Leicester - they counter attack so quickly.

That was reminiscent again of last season, so narrow, so compact, but Mahrez got the ball out of the blocks and it's a goal.

    Un. Be. Lievable.

Leicester have netted three goals in the opening 20 minutes against Manchester City.

Foxes defender Christian Fuchs goes long with a ball up top to Riyad Mahrez, who brilliantly carresses a first-time touch through to Jamie Vardy on goal.

The Englishman keeps his cool, going round Claudio Bravo and tucking into an open net.

Where was the City defence? Quite frankly, Claudio Ranieri won't care.

A deserved booking and he is out of the next game.

If this game was last season, you would have written this game off already for Manchester City.

Leicester were solid at the back and rarely conceded one goal, never mind two.

Manchester City are going to have some opportunities, but at the moment Leicester have got the upper hand.

Riyad Mahrez looks brighter. He was the first Leicester player to touch the ball and a nice first touch always set you up for the game. He looks, brighter, sharper and up for the game.

Islam Slimani is the second player in Premier League history to assist two goals in the opening five minutes of a match after Andrey Arshavin for Arsenal against Newcastle in February 2011.

He should have had a goal as well.

If City want to get back into this game, they'll need to get Kevin de Bruyne on the ball.

The Belgian works an opening for himself on the edge of the area, but drags his shot off target.

All over the place at the back.

Manchester City still kept just two clean sheets in league this season - only Crystal Palace, Sunderland and Hull have kept fewer (1).

    Leicester 2-0 Man City

Robert Huth is causing Manchester City all sorts of problems.

The big German wins another header from the corner and it's into the path of Islam Slimani in the box, but the Leicester striker lashes his shot over the bar from six yards out.

For a £30m player, he should be doing better there.

Leicester have gone back to how they were winning games last season. They have no shame in putting 10 players behind the ball if necessary.

That's fine, it's that simple. I think they have tried to go away from that a bit and I don't think it was necessary.

"When did Claudio Bravo last save a shot?" Ian Warburton asks on #bbcfootball.

Is he better than Joe Hart? I ask you.

Seen nothing so far to suggest he is.

All the talk before kick-off was about how badly Leicester have been doing in the league this season.

An incredible first five minutes sees them lead against Manchester City today though.

Both sets of players are just looking to get settled down now after that breathless opening.

It's great to see and hopefully it lasts for the entirety of the game.

The place needed a lift, a bit of spark, and those two goals have certainly provided it for everybody within the stadium.

    Andy King (5 mins)

    That's why they're champions.

I asked how Man City will respond. In the worst possible fashion.

Robert Huth goes up into the opposite area and wins a header again.

It finds Islam Slimani, who touches it off to Andy King on the edge of the box.

The Welshman sizes up the target and curls an effort into the roof of the net.

City goalkeeper Claudio Bravo gets a hand to it and should push it away, but can only palm into his own net. Poor, poor goalkeeping.

What a start to this match. Extraordinary.

    Jamie Vardy (3 mins)

Ten league games without scoring... is over.

Leicester man Jamie Vardy was on a dreadful run, but he puts this chance away.

It's Robert Huth who wins a towering header which reaches Riyad Mahrez.

Last season's PFA Player of the Year passes it on to Islam Slimani, who plays a lovely weighted pass through to the Englishman.

Vardy takes a touch and makes no mistake with his finish, drilled low into the net past Claudio Bravo.
