    Middlesbrough 2-0 Swansea

Some nice slick recycling of possession from Boro opens up a huge channel for Antonio Barragan down the right wing, but Calum Chambers' pass isn't accurate enough and the chance is gone.

Swansea boss Bob Bradley is chewing his tongue on the sideline.

But there's no time left. Boro's lead preserved at the break.

    Middlesbrough 2-0 Swansea

Alfie Mawson booms a ball up in search of Fernando Llorente's silky touch but the move comes loose.

Fabio's pass is too strong for Stewart Downing to take under control tight down the left. Initiative back to the away side.

    Middlesbrough 2-0 Swansea

THREE minutes to be added on in total, but there'll be more because of the Alfie Mawson injury.

A Gylfi Sigurdsson free-kick is headed out by Alvaro Negredo. Will there be time for Swansea?

    Middlesbrough 2-0 Swansea

Alfie Mawson looks OK to carry on. How long added on?

  9. Postpublished at 45 mins

    Middlesbrough 2-0 Swansea

Swansea have carved out a few decent openings since going two down. Now would be a perfect time to grab one back.

But Jordi Amat gives the ball straight to Gaston Ramirez, and his cross finds Alvaro Negredo in the box. The Spaniard catches Alfie Mawson with a high boot searching for an overhead. Foul.

Mawson is down getting treatment. That caught him square on the forehead.

    Middlesbrough 2-0 Swansea

Adam Forshaw is so quick to the ball. Again he shows brilliant reactions to steal in and divert a dangerous Gyfli Sigurdsson flick on.

The Modou Barrow v Fabio battle enters a new chapter with a Swansea free-kick that's deep enough to whip in the box.

Sigurdsson's cross is nice but again it's brought back for a foul - Alfie Mawson judged to have shoved a red back.

    Middlesbrough 2-0 Swansea

Just under FIVE to go before the break. Boro are looking to hold on. It's all Swansea at the moment.

  12. Postpublished at 40 mins

    Middlesbrough 2-0 Swansea

Another Swansea corner. They're growing back into this, the away side.

Gylfi Sigurdsson launches it to the back stick. Destination: Jay Fulton.

But Fulton is penalised for a tug on Antonio Barragan, who was giving as good as he got by the way.

Joey Daniel Waldron: I can't deal with this absolute dross every week. Absolutely pathetic and sleepwalking towards relegation @SwansOfficial.

    Middlesbrough 2-0 Swansea

Really nice play from Fernando Llorente drifting across the back lines in comfortable possession looking for the killer pass. He feeds Leon Britton on the edge of his box, who slides in a secret pass for Jay Fulton.

The Swansea midfielder forces the corner with a blocked shot, but Boro are digging in deep and the set piece is cleared.

  15. Postpublished at 33 mins

    Middlesbrough 2-0 Swansea

Fabio goes in strongly to win the ball off Modou Barrow when there was a glimmer of an opening down the Swansea right.

Boro don't concede too many when they're in this mood.

But Barrow's then found with Wayne Routledge's through ball and sticks the ball in the net. The only problem? He is offside. Flag up.

GOAL - Middlesbrough 2-0 Swanseapublished at 29 mins

    Alvaro Negredo

It's beautifully tucked away by Alvaro Negredo. Supremely confident as he shapes to blast right but places sweetly to the left.

All that good work by Bob Bradley's side in the opening stages undone by two Negredo goals. There can be no complaints about the penalty decision though.

    Middlesbrough 1-0 Swansea

Swansea started this game incredibly well but are now being made to chase and look off the pace.

Wayne Routledge gifts the home side a corner with a terrible driven back pass looking for his keeper. There was no chance.

  19. CLOSE!published at 23 mins

    Middlesbrough 1-0 Swansea

Gaston Ramirez whips the ball just over the bar.

A little lower and Lukasz Fabianski wasn't even getting near.

  20. Postpublished at 22 mins

    Middlesbrough 1-0 Swansea

That goal has hugely changed the face of this game now. Boro looking positive every time and threatening again.

Angel Rangel has to scramble the ball out for a corner with Stewart Downing lurking, and from the set piece, Gaston Ramirez is felled on the edge of the box.

    Free-kick. In Ramirez territory...
