A good spell of West Ham pressure here.

Payet picks up the ball on the right and is a allowed to advance into the area but Andrew Robertson gets his body in the way of the France midfielder's goalbound effort.

Marshall is carrying on for now.

He boots the ball downfield to test out his niggle and gives a little grimace as he does so.

    One to watch...

    West Ham 0-0 Hull

Hull goalkeeper David Marshall is in a bit of bother here. Seems to be a groin injury.

He's getting some attention here and his back-up Eldin Jakupovic is warming up.

Jakupovic of course started the season as number one for the Tigers - playing in those early wins over Leicester and Swansea.

    West Ham 0-0 Hull

The busy Michail Antonio will need to be closely watched by the visitors today.

He's ostensibly a right wing-back but as we all know he pops up all over the shop and will no doubt be adding to the aerial threat along with Andy Carroll in attack.

A lofted pass was just aimed in Antonio's direction but David Marshall came out to claim.

    West Ham 0-0 Hull

Cagey start from both teams here. Not a huge amount to report.

The most interesting thing so far was Michail Antonio taking a throw-in and managing to lob it back out of play again...

    Mark Lawrenson
    Former Liverpool defender

West Ham's form has not been great but they got a home win against Burnley in midweek after their draw at Liverpool, so should be feeling somewhat buoyant.

I keep tipping Hull to lose - the problem for them is that most of the time I am right.

    Prediction: 2-0

West Ham v Hull (15:00 GMT)

    Simon Brotherton
    Match of the Day commentator

West Ham have fallen well below expectation so far but have had a decent week, leaving them four points clear of the bottom three and in 15th place.

Last Sunday's draw at Liverpool was followed up on Wednesday with a 1-0 victory over Burnley, their first success in seven league games.

Hull have failed to score in any of their past four matches on the road, but if they find the net first here it'll be interesting to see the reaction of a Hammers team who at times have been suffering from what their manager Slaven Bilic describes as 'mental cramp'.

  16. Feeling at home yet?published at 14:37 Greenwich Mean Time 17 December 2016

    Afternoon,

West Ham's difficult start at their new home has been well documented so we won't go opening up old wounds right now. Let's just say there have been teething troubles since arriving at the London Stadium.

Well, Slaven Bilic and his men have a great chance to boost the feelgood factor today as they host a Hull City side mired in relegation bother.

A West Ham win will secure back-to-back victories at their new home for the first time, and go a long way towards banishing some of the Hammers' blues on their new patch.

It could also leave them seven points clear of relegation danger at Christmas, a position today's opponents - doomed to spend the festive season in the drop zone - can only dream of.

Just under 30 minutes to go.
