    Jason Roberts
Former West Brom striker on Final Score

Talking about the first of two goals Southampton conceded in a three-minute spell...

Forster will be asked about this error even years after he's retired! He swung to clear it but it just hit Benteke - grim for the goalie.

    West Brom 2-0 Watford

    Alex Scott
Arsenal Ladies & England right-back on Final Score

How important are set plays? It was a well-worked free-kick with great movement, though the wicked deflection was harsh on Watford. The Hornets now have it all to do.

    James Tomkins

Alan Pardew might not be looking for a new job on Monday after all. Crystal Palace, winless in seven matches, double their lead within three minutes of the opener.

James Tomkins is left unmarked at a corner to bundle in Joe Ledley's flick.

Although if Palace blow this lead now...

    Marc Muniesa (35 mins)

Stoke are another team that could have the pipe and slippers out well before full-time. They have bossed Burnley and this is a second goal of simplicity. Wonderful work down the left by Marko Arnautovic (couple of stepovers, low cross) is finished by Marc Muniesa for his first Premier League goal. Easy as you like.

GOAL - West Brom 2-0 Watfordpublished at 15:33 Greenwich Mean Time 3 December 2016

    Chris Brunt (33 mins)

Those West Brom fans that are staying away might want to think about coming back. They are coasting against Watford, with Chris Brunt firing in a free-kick from 25 yards. His skimming daisy-cutter takes a deflection off Juan Zuniga and nestles inside the post.

    Christian Benteke (33 mins)

Someone open up the ground. Fraser Forster wants it to swallow him up.

The Southampton keeper makes the biggest gaffe of the day, miskicking Jose Fonte's backpass to gift the simplest of tap-ins to Christian Benteke.

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Southampton

The highlight of the action at Selhurst Park, in our eyes at least, sees the matchball land on the roof of the main stand.

"Ooooohhhhh!" sing the crowd as they wait to see if the ball will drop back down on to the pitch.

    It does. "Waaaay!"

That sums up this game really.

    Tottenham 0-0 Swansea

How Spurs are not ahead is a growing mystery. Victor Wanyama has had a shot saved and Son Heung-min has knocked one over. Swansea couldn't tell you what it's like to be in the Spurs half.

Mame Biram Diouf created Stoke's opener for Jon Walters and it had been coming - the majority of Stoke's attacks have come down the Senegalese's right flank.

    Stoke 1-0 Burnley

Stoke are all over Burnley here. Marko Arnautovic has just jinked in from the left to cause trouble, while another through ball has nearly split the visiting defence. Sean Dyche isn't a happy bunny on the touchline. He comes high up in the list of Premier League managers you'd least like to upset.

  11. 'Walker's shot was fierce'published at 15:28 Greenwich Mean Time 3 December 2016

    Tottenham 0-0 Swansea

    Clive Allen
Former Spurs & England forward at White Hart Lane for 5 live sports extra

Kyle Walker has got Vaseline across his eyes, strapping on his right wrist but the shot was fierce. It was dipping into the top corner and Fabianski had to be bright and alert to tip it around.

  12. Postpublished at 15:28 Greenwich Mean Time 3 December 2016

    Tottenham 0-0 Swansea

Spurs are knocking, but the blue Swansea wall is holding firm. Just. Harry Kane has missed a header, that was then adjudged to be offside, while a driving Kyle Walker, showing no ill-effects from having his bell rung earlier, has seen a shot saved. If they got one, they might get plenty.

  13. Postpublished at 15:28 Greenwich Mean Time 3 December 2016

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Southampton

Not a classic this one. Although Crystal Palace then threaten, well, more politely inquire, through Christian Benteke's header. The ball bobbles past the right-hand post.

    Sunderland 0-0 Leicester

Poor Jamie Vardy. Not much partying for the Leicester striker this season. He's looking to avoid a 16th league game without scoring. He heads Christian Fuchs's cross over the bar.

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Southampton

Shots on target? Zero. But Ryan Bertrand comes within a whisker. The Saints left-back's 20-yard shot hits James McArthur's backside and clips the side-netting.

If I had to pick one person to finish my dinner, it would be Jermain Defoe. Give him a sniff and he'll clean up.

Apart from this time. The Sunderland striker swings his boot at a cross, only connecting with clean crisp Mackem air.

    Jon Walters (20 mins)

What a finish! It's delightful from Jon Walters to give Stoke the lead over Burnley. The silver fox (he really does have a hint of George Cloonety about him) meets Mame Biram Diouf's low cross with a sweep of the right foot, arcing the ball over Paul Robinson and inside the far post. Lovely.
