    Swansea 0-0 Sunderland

What's wrong with playing it down the left at the Liberty?

Sunderland's set-up has been all about the opposite flank, leaving left wing-back Patrick van Aanholt (number three below) strangely out of the loop.

Over 60% of the Black Cats' attacking play has instead revolved around Billy Jones and Seb Larsson on the right wing, with Victor Anichebe coming out to meet them.

    Burnley 2-1 Bournemouth

Almost a carbon copy for Bournemouth as they again square the ball to Benik Afobe but this time he slices a shot wide from 12 yard. Good opening!

    Swansea 0-0 Sunderland

Swansea's Neil Taylor charges on to a loose ball from 30 yards out and, if you look at his body shape, you'd think he's hit a worldy.

If you look at the ball though, it's somewhere in row Q.

Chimuka Curtis Nsamu: Its over for Stoke, they keep defending and counter-attack but sometimes defending too much brings errors

James Calder: If the ref sees Snodgrass has dived with no contact, that's a second yellow, and this is a totally different match

Ed: As a Palace fan losing to that penalty is worst case scenario. We'll get nothing, and the injustice will save Pardew's skin

I wonder if Sean Dyche has calmed down yet. He was ticking as he left the park, pointing at his watch in classic mime style. Sir Alex would be proud.

    Swansea 0-0 Sunderland

Swansea saw 63% of the ball in that first half. Although it kind of doesn't matter, as neither side looked too fussed about scoring.

Swansea: Six shot, none on target.

Sunderland: Two shots, none on target.

Advent. A time of expectant waiting and preparation.

Leicester fans have been waiting for the successful Champions League autumn campaign to end and, according to so many, the league results to improve after one win in nine free-falling games.

I'm not convinced. There are too many missing factors from last season's success.

But this could be the game to bounce back. City will be badly weakened by self-inflicted suspensions. Four wins in 14 games is dire form. Much will depend on the appetite of Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez.

    In a word - yes.

Robert Snodgrass won the penalty that he duly tucked away - but it was through questionable means.

Scott Dann looks set to slide in to intercept Andy Robertson's low cross, but pulls his foot away at the last moment. Snodgrass gets a foot on the ball and then drops to the ground.

Interestingly, Dann was booked. Snodgrass, meanwhile, was on a booking and had he been yellow carded for diving, he'd have been off.

    Arsenal 1-1 Stoke City

    Terry Butcher

Another cross from Bellerin. He's my man of the match so far and he only came on a substitute. Stoke will need to cut out those crosses.

Arsenal have dominated, but conceded a needless penalty. Cech has had one save to make. Stoke have been stubborn but I think there will be more goals in the second half.

Dan Griffiths: Bournemouth to win 4-3 again!

Robert Dean-Hussey: Xhaka shouldn't be still on the pitch

Johnny Magrinho: Llorente & Barrow are Swansea's main attacking threat and they're both useless. Where are their goals going to come from?

  15. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:49 Greenwich Mean Time 10 December 2016

    Burnley 2-1 Bournemouth

Half-time - Sean Dyche is fuming that that goal was scored in added time, late as far as he was concerned. The number held up is a 'minimum' though isn't it?

  18. Postpublished at 15:48 Greenwich Mean Time 10 December 2016

    Arsenal 1-1 Stoke

Stoke had a problem down their left flank with just Theo Walcott to contend with. Now with Hector Bellerin having replacing Shkodran Mustafi through injury there are two sets of rapid heels to deal with.

With over 50% of Arsenal's attacking moves coming down their right, was it any surprise that Bellerin and Walcott combined for the goal that cancels out Charlie Adam's penalty?

    Benik Afobe (45 mins)

A really neat, nice goal from Benik Afobe. The move is started by Ryan Fraser, who spins away from contact in the middle of the pitch and finds Simon Francis overlapping on the right. His cross finds Afobe on the penalty spot and he steers home with aplomb.
