  1. 'Brilliant by Mowatt'published at 21:03 Greenwich Mean Time 9 January 2017

    Cambridge 1-1 Leeds

Ex-Cambridge striker, BBC Radio 5 live

One moment of real quality. It's a simple nod in but brilliant play by Alex Mowatt who has been Leeds' best player on the night. You can see the deflation in the crowd and the Cambridge players because they have absolutely dominated.

  2. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 58 mins

    Cambridge 1-1 Leeds

Is that the start of a Leeds onslaught? Kemar Roofe comes on for Souleymane Doukara.

Roofe scored 26 goals in League Two for Oxford last season.

  3. goal

GOAL - Cambridge 1-1 Leedspublished at 56 mins

    Stuart Dallas

And there it is! Leeds do level after the first real cross they have put into the middle. Alex Mowatt finds space on the left to swing it over, Stuart Dallas gets above Blair Adams to head back across goal and with Marcus Antonsson sniffing, the ball hits the back of the net.

  4. Postpublished at 55 mins

    Cambridge 1-0 Leeds

Half time introduction Lewie Coyle fizzes a good pass into the run of Alex Mowatt and he sends in a low shot which is easily held by Will Norris. Slightly encouraging for Leeds though.

  5. 'Bonkers'published at 20:58 Greenwich Mean Time 9 January 2017

    Cambridge 1-0 Leeds

    Steve Claridge
Ex-Cambridge striker, BBC Radio 5 live

Leeds keep giving the ball away and are inviting trouble. Absolutely bonkers the number of times they have over-played.

  6. Postpublished at 52 mins

    Cambridge 1-0 Leeds

Leeds are attacking their own fans now. The travelling hordes have had little to sing about on the pitch really but they remain in good voice.

  7. CLOSE!published at 48 mins

    Cambridge 1-0 Leeds

Bright stuff again from Cambridge as Piero Mingoia wins the corner. Marco Silvestri then unconvincingly punches a corner down inside the penalty area, Cambridge midfielder James Dunne loops an effort back on goal and Silvestri has to get up well to push it over!

  8. 'More of the same'published at 20:52 Greenwich Mean Time 9 January 2017

    Cambridge 1-0 Leeds

    Steve Claridge
Ex-Cambridge striker, BBC Radio 5 live

No reason for Shaun Derry to change a thing. There was no real threat from Leeds, no width. He'll be telling his Cambiridge players 'let's have more of the same'.

It's really difficult but Garry Monk has got a small squad that's playing well but the goal for any club outside the top tier is to get there, so if anything is devaluing the FA cup it's that. I want my club to do well in all competitions but it's down to the club on what its ambitions are not the fans.

    Leeds fan

Good job Leeds aren't in Europe!!! Imagine playing Europa League in the Ukraine on a Thursday then playing again on Sunday!! And winning both! Poor excuses

  10. 'Pitch cutting up?'published at 20:50 Greenwich Mean Time 9 January 2017

    Cambridge 1-0 Leeds

    Phil Shepka
    BBC Sport

The men have been out with their forks at half-time to do whatever they can do to the pitch.

After pretty torrid rain in East Anglia today the pitch has started to cut up quite a bit during that first half.

Will that play into Cambridge hands? In the first round they defeated Dover in a replay on a similarly mud-soaked pitch.

Leeds do have a man who looks ready to come on but it's Lewie Coyle. Stripped and doing shuttle runs.

    Best of the third round

It is one of the standout weekends of the domestic football calendar - and the third round of the FA Cup certainly lived up to its billing.

League Two Plymouth took 8,000 fans to Liverpool and ground out a 0-0 draw, National League Lincoln City drew 2-2 at Ipswich Town, while top-flight teams Stoke and Bournemouth were knocked out by Wolves and Millwall respectively.

Throughout the weekend, we asked you for your FA Cup stories, whether from following your team this year or any memories of success - or failure - in the past.

And the tweets, pictures and videos you sent to us as part of the BBC's #nogutsnoglory campaign showed just why the FA Cup remains the most prestigious - and romantic - domestic cup competition in world football.

  16. Time to make a change?published at 20:41 Greenwich Mean Time 9 January 2017

    Cambridge 1-0 Leeds

Leeds have Kemar Roofe - a man well versed in League Two football of course - on the bench, plus top scorer Chris Wood and Ronaldo Vieira.

If you believe in nominative determinism, he should be the best player to stalk the earth.

As close as Leeds came in that first half, and a good save from Will Norris.

Leeds fans already moaning about the fixture "congestion"...?! Most of society manages at least a five day working week, instead of 2 matches and a couple of training days. Suck it up!!

    Cambridge fan (for tonight)

To the Leeds fan.. I think professional footballers can manage to play on a Monday and a Friday. Leagues 1 and 2 manage Saturday - Tuesday with no moaning at all..

    A Walsall Fan.

  19. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:33 Greenwich Mean Time 9 January 2017

    Time.

'Yellows! Yellows!' is the chant as the home fans are rightly delighted with that first half.

More good work from Uche Ikpeazu down in the corner for Cambridge, shrugging off two defenders. Time ref?
