  1. Postpublished at 39 mins

    Hull City 1-1 Bournemouth

There's been a real change in the game after that goal out of nothing.

It's much more open with threats now coming at both ends. Nothing clear-cut to report, but it's certainly game on.

    Abel Hernandez

What a ball from Andrew Robertson. Utterly brilliant delivery.

Hull have hardly threatened at all but when they finally get the ball down and play it around, they find a way through.

Tom Huddlestone's lovely pass presented Robertson with acres of space to pick out a cross from the left wing, and he duly sent over a peach that landed perfectly for Abel Hernandez to nod in on his first start since suffering a groin injury in November.

    Hull 0-1 Bournemouth

Hull will class this as a chance given the way this match has gone so far.

Robert Snodgrass' free-kick was delivered deep to the back post where Curtis Davies tried to turn the ball across the face of goal but Bournemouth cleared.

  4. Postpublished at 28 mins

    Hull 0-1 Bournemouth

Bournemouth win their third corner of the match after Charlie Daniels' cross from the left is cut out by Michael Dawson.

Corner four follows moments later and Hull again just about clear the danger, but they look fraught and rushed.

Bournemouth know they are far the better team today - and Hull know it too.

  5. Postpublished at 24 mins

    Hull 0-1 Bournemouth

Ryan Fraser really is giving Hull a torrid time. The nippy forward is constantly probing for gaps in the backline and very nearly profits at the end of another threatening move by Eddie Howe's side.

You sense Fraser has a goal in him today...

    Hull 0-1 Bournemouth

Bournemouth look really good out there. They are quicker than Hull in thought and deed and the hosts are chasing shadows.

Another crisp passing move almost ends with Ryan Fraser getting in behind but the through ball was just too heavy.

Moments later Benik Afobe very nearly profits from more slack defending as he muscles his way past last man Michael Dawson to latch on to the goalkeeper's kick downfield, but Eldin Jakupovic comes out to block.

Really poor from the home side, completely outfoxed by very basic route-one football.

    Ex-Chelsea striker on Final Score

It was a definite penalty, Ryan Fraser has got free and it's clumsy from Harry Maguire.

    A disastrous start for Hull.

  8. CLOSE!published at 14 mins

    Hull 0-1 Bournemouth

Bournemouth are being allowed loads of room in front of the Hull defence and Harry Arter very nearly punishes the home side, drilling in a shot from 20 yards that has Eldin Jakupovc scrambling but flashes just wide.

    Hull 0-1 Bournemouth

Another chance for Bournemouth as Jack Wilshere is allowed to run unchallenged into the area but his shot is charged down by Curtis Davies.

Hull have shown nothing since falling behind early on.

Marco Silva is prowling the touchline looking frustrated already.

    Junior Stanislas

And Hull are duly inflicted with the full punishment for Maguire's poorly-timed challenge as Junior Stanislas steps up to lash the ball beyond Eldin Jakupovic.

  12. Penalty to Bournemouthpublished at 2 mins

We've barely had chance to get ourselves comfy and already Hull have conceded a penalty kick - their 10th of the season.

You could see it coming a mile off in fairness. Ryan Fraser darted into the area and makeshift right-back Harry Maguire went in with a hopelessly late challenge and referee Martin Atkinson had no doubts about the decision.

    Hull v Bournemouth (15:00 GMT)

The teams are out on the pitch and it's handshakes all round.

Bottom side Hull have a nightmare run of league fixtures after this one - against Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal - so avoiding defeat is absolutely vital.

    • The Tigers have conceded 20 goals from set-pieces (including penalties) in 2016-17, more than any other Premier League side.
    • Marco Silva won 28 of his 30 league matches as Olympiacos manager last season (D1, L1), winning the title by 30 points.
  16. We need quality - Silvapublished at 14:54 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January 2017

    Hull v Bournemouth (15:00 GMT)

Hull head coach Marco Silva: "We try to find solutions for the side and our backline and if you pay attention, our squad is playing just one system at the moment.

"We don't have the wingers in our squad, natural wingers, we don't have them but we are trying to put this type of player into our squad. We need a right-back also, but we will see what is possible.

"Bringing in players is important because it is impossible at this level to be training with 13 or 14 players... we need to add quality players to our dressing room."

    • They have won just two of their last 12 Premier League away games (D2, L8).

    Hull v Bournemouth (15:00 GMT)

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe: "Hull have had their difficulties, but we need to go into it like we did the Swansea game, with a good attitude and application.

"We know how difficult this weekend will be, we have to be at our best levels against a side with a new manager."

  20. LAWRO'S PREDICTIONpublished at 14:45 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January 2017

    Hull v Bournemouth (15:00 GMT)

    Mark Lawrenson
    Former Liverpool defender

Our Mark Lawrenson has not tipped Hull to win all season... and he's not about to start now, even with the renewed optimism around the KCOM.

    He's a hard man...

"It is early days for Hull under their new boss Marco Silva. They beat Swansea in the FA Cup and, although they lost at Manchester United in the EFL Cup semi-final, their performance was respectable.

"It is going to be tough for the Tigers on Saturday, though, because they played in midweek and Bournemouth did not."

    Prediction: 1-2
