    Crystal Palace 0-2 Manchester City

Manchester City are likely to be among the favourites for the Cup if they win today. They are well on top and the hail has stopped too.

Looks like Palace winger Jeff Schlupp has picked up an injury now.

  2. goal

GOAL - Rochdale 0-3 Huddersfieldpublished at 16:31 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January 2017

    Michael Hefele (74 mins)

A third for Huddersfield with Michael Hefele - a defender by trade but playing in attack in this game - heading in.

I questioned the wisdom of sticking a defender up top earlier on, but what do I know?

Surely, it's all over now? Branislav Ivanovic smashes it into the net but could that be his last goal for the club?

Ivanovic has been linked with a move away to various clubs including West Brom.

  4. goal

GOAL - Crystal Palace 0-2 Manchester Citypublished at 16:29 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January 2017

    Leroy Sane (71 mins)

City's front three have looked super slick today and they craft a wonderful second goal, David Silva as ever playing the killer pass, dead weight, into the run of Leroy Sane and he sweeps into the far corner.

Aleksandar Mitrovic's spot kick is superbly saved by Simon Eastwood. Is this to be Oxford's day?

  8. goal

GOAL - Chelsea 3-0 Brentfordpublished at 16:27 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January 2017

    Branislav Ivanovic (69 mins)

Surely that's Chelsea safely through to the next round as substitute Branislav Ivanovic gets in on the scoring, latching onto Pedro's pass before driving home. A very straightforward day at the office for Antonio Conte's side.

    Izzy Brown pen (66 mins)

It looks like Championship Huddersfield have this one in the bag as Mark Hudson is sent tumbling inside the area and on-loan Chelsea forward Izzy Brown fires home from the spot.

They can carry on playing for the moment - oh wait, the ball is beginning to stick, we might have a problem.

We've just had a cutaway of Pep Guardiola considering the hail storming down and I'm thinking to myself "this isn't Barcelona anymore Pep"!

    But this is proper football.

    Steven Defour (68 mins)

A classy goal which may well seal this tie, Steven Defour lashes home from the edge of the box.

  13. PENALTY TO NEWCASTLEpublished at 16:25 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January 2017

    Oxford Utd 1-0 Newcastle

Aleksandar Mitrovic is fouled inside the box and now has the chance to level from the spot.

  14. goal

GOAL - Lincoln City 2-1 Brighton and Hove Albionpublished at 16:23 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January 2017

    Fikayo Tomori (OG 62 mins)

A cracker! Not quite in the Darren Bent school of clangers but not far away. Nathan Arnold whips in a cross from the right, I don't think there's a Lincoln player in the penalty are but on-loan Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori gets it all wrong and steers past his own keeper.

    Shock VERY MUCH ON.

    Vincent Janssen pen (65 mins)

Vincent Janssen gets the equaliser from the spot but it wasn't the greatest of penalties, hitting it low to Jamal Blackman's left and the keeper gets his hand to the ball but can't keep it out. A stunning couple of minutes at White Hart Lane.

  17. RED CARD - Kelvin Mellor (Blackpool)published at 16:22 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January 2017

    Blackburn Rovers 2-0 Blackpool

This looked a harsh one. Kelvin Mellor, already on a yellow card, slid in to make a full-blooded challenge on Hope Akpan.

It looked as though he won the ball but the referee thought otherwise and issued a second caution.

A already-tough task for Blackpool looks an impossible one now.

    Oxford United 1-0 Newcastle

    Adam Williams
    BBC Sport at Kassam Stadium

Oxford boss Michael Appleton spoke earlier this week that he wanted his side to be in this tie at the hour mark, As it stands, the League One side are in the ascendancy against their Championship opponents.

Newcastle were wasteful in the first half, Aleksandar Mitrovic the main culprit who could've had a hat-trick of his own.

But, Oxford have taken the best chance offered to them so far and that is pretty much the difference in this game.

Spurs have found a way back. Just to show how keen Mauricio Pochettino is to save this game, he's sending on Dele Alli to try and make a difference.

  20. 'Outstanding Willian'published at 16:21 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January 2017

    Chelsea 2-0 Brentford

Willian has really been outstanding today.

He lost his place when Pedro really stepped up and Willian was struggling, but he's really come back strong today.
