The Cowley brothers' dynamic at Lincoln City is all very interesting and got us to thinking:

Could you work every day with your brother or sister? Maybe you do. Who's the boss? And who decides? Is it a plus to have someone you know so well? Or a major drawback?

Tales please of sibling synergy or familial fault lines. Are you at each other's throats like the Gallaghers or harmonious like Haim?

  7. Meet the Cowley brothers...published at 18:46 Greenwich Mean Time 17 January 2017

Lincoln City v Ipswich (20:05 GMT)

When it comes to the early rounds of the FA Cup, the narrative tends to follow the story of players who hold down part-time jobs alongside their football careers; and for Lincoln City manager Danny Cowley and his assistant manager brother Nicky that was also the case until recently.

This time last year, the Cowley brothers were dividing their time between first-team affairs at National League part-timers Braintree Town and teaching at an Essex secondary school.

Having previously managed Concord Rangers to three promotions in eight seasons, the pair impressively juggled PE lessons at The FitzWimarc School in Rayleigh with guiding Braintree to the National League play-offs in their first season.

But while the Cowleys missed out on promotion to the Football League last season, the opportunity to manage on a full-time basis at Lincoln could help them go one step closer this season, with the Imps currently two points clear at the top of the National League table.
