    Always hit the target!

I have seen Josh King take a few penalties and he is always so cool. Perhaps he was too cool.

And that is football for you! Miss a chance and ten seconds later you are punished.

This is a big test of their character for Bournemouth today.

    Bournemouth 0-1 West Ham

Bournemouth are still recovering from that penalty miss and switch off as West Ham pounce on a defensive error.

Sofiane Feghouli, who gave away the penalty, pinches the ball just outside the Bournemouth goal and finds Michail Antonio, who turns and sweeps into the far corner.

Bournemouth are immediately on the front foot. They really need a win and an early goal will do wonders for settling some nerves around the ground.

The crowd get excited as Benik Afobe charges away down the right and crosses deep for Marc Pugh, who is unmarked, but his header back into the middle of the box is cleared.

Tyrone Mings is in attendance. He's sat at the back of the directors' box and appears to have been working on his looking miffed face. The camera has been focused on him for the last five minutes and he has rarely deviated from a carefully crafted scowl.

    Mark Lawrenson
    BBC football expert

Eddie Howe's side need a win - they have not had one in their past eight league matches - and I think they might do it on Saturday.

I don't see West Ham's season just petering out, because they are chasing a top-half finish - but I am backing Bournemouth to edge this one.

    Prediction:  2-1

  17. Motty's expecting goalspublished at 14:35 Greenwich Mean Time 11 March 2017

    John Motson
    Match of the Day commentator

This is a game in which I'm expecting goals.

Bournemouth have conceded 36 goals in their past 15 league games, while West Ham have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last six.

The Cherries have let in three or more goals in 10 league games this season - they really need to tighten up at the back to avoid being dragged into a relegation battle.

But they're  missing Nathan Ake,  and the  absence of Tyrone Mings  for the next five games won't help.

Yet it's an important game for West Ham too, as they aren't going through a great spell either.

In short, both teams need a win to turn around a very indifferent spell.

To say Bournemouth were a bit peeved when Tyrone Mings was slapped with a five-game suspension would be an understatement.

Mings was punished for violent conduct after appearing to stamp on Zlatan Ibrahimovic in last weekend's draw at Manchester United, and the Cherries released a strongly-worded statement defending their player, calling the decision "extraordinary".

Can they use that feeling of injustice to propel them to a first Premier League win in 2017?
