    Hull City 0-0 Swansea

Alfred N'Diaye and Martin Olsson both get a yellow for their handbags at the end of the first half. N'Diaye didn't like a clumsy challenge from Olsson, who's on the receiving end of a push in the chest. The referee didn't see it as any more than that.

He soldiers on and gets ready for the incoming corner. Paul Clement will be one relieved man.

That early Wayne Routledge chance remains the best effort so far. How big will that save from Eldin Jakupovic prove?

"SHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT" yell the Hull fans, who know Tom Huddlestone can produce the goods from distance.

The midfielder finds some space and gets decent power behind it, but it's not enough to trouble Lukasz Fabianski.

Swansea break from the goal-kick but Llorente is offside. He shakes his head at the linesman, but it's the correct decision.

Hull City v Swansea (15:00 GMT)

Hull have beaten Swansea twice already this season, winning both games by 2-0 (in the Premier League and FA Cup).

The Tigers will be glad to have Abel Hernandez back in their starting XI - He's scored in both games.

We might be in for a wait for the first goal, mind. All four goals Hull have scored against the Swans this season have come in the final 15 minutes.

Where was Fernando Llorente when Bob Bradley was Swansea manager?

Paul Clement has gone in and said 'my goodness, I have a centre forward who can score'.

Remember his first goal last week against Burnley? It came from the cross of the season.

  19. 'Defeat for Hull could cause potentially irreversible damage' published at 14:50 Greenwich Mean Time 11 March 2017

Hull City v Swansea (15:00 GMT)

    Alistair Mann
    MOTD commentator

Since getting new managers just days apart in early January, these two sides have made the encouraging improvements those appointments were designed to provoke.

That said, while Paul Clement has steered Swansea some five points clear of the drop zone, Marco Silva's Hull still remain embedded within it.

The Tigers still have  to face  the four sides immediately around them in the table, three of which - perhaps crucially - are at home, beginning with the visit of the Swans.

Having taken seven of his eight points so far at the KCOM Stadium, Silva will be acutely aware of the potentially irreversible damage a defeat this weekend would inflict.
