Huddersfield are looking to continue their impressive form at Yorkshire rivals Barnsley today and keep up the pressure on the Championship's top two.

David Wagner's Terriers are on a six-match winning streak, and another three points today would put them a point behind second-placed Brighton, who face Reading in the late kick-off.

Fulham can cut the gap to the play-off places to three points with victory at Neil Warnock's resurgent Cardiff, who have picked up a joint league-high 21 points in 2017.

Brentford host bottom club Rotherham,  while QPR travel to Preston looking to record a thrid successive win.

And there's a potential six-pointer at the bottom, where Wigan welcome Nottingham Forest to the DW Stadium.

The Latics are two points from safety and six points behind the 18th-placed Reds.

  2. Bruce seeks elusive winpublished at 14:40 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February 2017

Aston Villa v Derby (15:00 GMT)

After a solid start as Aston Villa boss, things have turned sour for Steve Bruce.

The claret and blues have lost their last five in the Championship and are winless in their last nine league games.

Villa haven't tasted victory since Boxing Day and have slid down the table to 17th, six points above the relegation zone.

East Midlands rivals Derby County are looking to heap more misery on Bruce and Villa this afternoon.

However, Steve McClaren's Rams have seen their play-off challenge falter this month with a four-game winless run.

Villa have won their last nine home league games against Derby stretching back to 1989, so a win for the visitors today would make the mood at Villa Park turn even worse.
