    Juventus v Porto (19:45 GMT) - agg 2-0

Juventus are not resting on their laurels in Turin. Juan Cuadrado, Paulo Dybala, Mario Mandzukic and Gonzalo Higuain all start in Massimiliano Allegri’s attack-minded 4-2-3-1 system.

Brazil right-back Dani Alves is preferred to Stephan Lichtsteiner, while centre-back Giorgio Chiellini starts on the bench after injury.

Porto winger Jesus Corona, who travelled with the squad to Turin and trained at Juventus Stadium last night, misses out after struggling with an ankle injury recently.

Goalkeeper Iker Casillas starts his 175th game in European competition - a new record. The former Real Madrid man overtakes the previous mark set by legendary AC Milan defender Paolo Maldini.

Juventus XI: Buffon; Dani Alves, Benatia, Bonucci, Alex Sandro; Khedira, Marchisio; Cuadrado, Dybala, Mandzukic; Higuain.

Porto XI: Casillas, Pereira, Felipe, Marcano, Layun, Danilo, André André, Óliver, Brahimi, Soares, André Silva.

I think Shakespeare is a temporary appointment. It gives the club time to survey the possible managers that might be interested in the job.

But I have to say, managing is a completely different job to coaching.

Shakespeare used to be able to spend a lot of time on the grass with the players, give interesting ideas, feel the sense of camaraderie with the team.

He didn't have to deal with the same problems that a manager might have.

Now, he doesn't need to be popular with all the players, he has to be responsible for picking the team, talking to the media, he has to have a relationship with his board of directors - it's a totally different job.

  3. Why not?published at 19:29 Greenwich Mean Time 14 March 2017

    Leicester v Sevilla (19:45 GMT)

Leicester boss Craig Shakespeare: "It will be a special occasion at the King Power. The atmosphere will be electric. I'm expecting the team to take the momentum from the two results, to take the confidence they've gained from that and really play on the front foot.

"That's not saying we'll be open as we know Seville have some very, very world-class players. But it makes for a very interesting game because of the away goal."

Asked whether Leicester could trump last season's unlikely title win by winning the Champions League: "Why not?

"We're in it. There's no free game in football. You have to try and win every game.

"You have to show that determination, that competitiveness, and we need to show that in abundance on Tuesday night."

Let me take you back to 2012. The likes of 911, B*Witched and Five had reformed in pursuit of their second 15 minutes, the Hulk, Captain America and Thor were knacking people on the cinema screen together for the first time and a little team called Chelsea were defying the odds in the Champions League.

Having sacked their manager two-thirds of the way through the season, the Blues put his former assistant in charge until the end of the season. Sound familiar?

Roberto di Matteo would go on to achieve the seemingly impossible by guiding the London side to victory in Europe's premier club competition.

    Over to you, Craig...

The game at the King Power is one of two Champions League last-16 second legs this evening. The other is in Turin, where Juventus host Porto.

The Italian side, who currently top Serie A, are favourites to progress to the last eight, having won 2-0 in Portugal.

They also welcome back striker Mario Mandzukic (illness) and winger Juan Cuadrado (suspension).

Our main focus will be Leicester v Sevilla but we'll bring you updates from the game in Italy.

The flags are out in force at the King Power. Every home fan has one, tucked neatly by their seat. Quite a lot of them will be expected to wave a white flag. Not quite the image you want to project ahead of the biggest game in your history.

No tinkering from Craig Shakespeare as he names the same XI for the third game in a row.

Shakespeare has overseen successive 3-1 wins against Liverpool and Hull, so Jamie Vardy, who has scored three goals in his last three games, retains his place in attack.

Leicester XI: Schmeichel, Simpson, Huth, Morgan (c), Fuchs, Albrighton, Ndidi, Drinkwater, Mahrez, Okazaki, Vardy

Wissam Ben Yedder starts up front for Sevilla as Stevan Jovetic misses out.

Sevilla XI: Rico; Mercado, Pareja, Rami; Sarabia, Iborra, N'Zonzi, Escudero; Vitolo, Nasri; Ben Yedder.

Jorge Sampaoli’s side have had a tiny wobble of late.

While Leicester were winning back-to-back matches under Shakespeare, Sevilla have drawn twice in a week, including 1-1 at home against struggling Leganes, after which they were booed off.

Sampaoli has hinted at anxiety amongst his players. Music to City's ears.

Sevilla are a serious side. It may only have been a narrow victory in the first leg, but their dominance was such that a greater margin would not have flattered them.

The Spanish side, who last season won the Europa League for a third successive time, are one of Europe's kings of knock-out football. They have emerged victorious from their last 12 two-legged ties in Europe.

In addition, they are currently third in La Liga, having beaten both Madrid sides this campaign.

But... and it is an encouraging but for Leicester...

Thanks to Jamie Vardy's second-half strike in Spain, a 1-0 win will do for Leicester. It seems so, so simple. Score once, don't concede, job done.

It's not easy, though. Not by a long shot...

The goal in Seville wasn't enough to save Claudio Ranieri's job as he was sacked by the club not long after landing back in Britain. That decision has been debated to death, so I won't trawl over old ground here. The facts are that the affable Italian has departed and his former assistant is now tasked with guiding them to Premier League safety and the Champions League last eight.

He's made a pretty fine start as well. Successive 3-1 league wins have lifted them out of the bottom three and showcased some of the ruthless counter-attacking style that sealed the most remarkable of title triumphs last May.

What a difference one goal can make.

At 2-0, Leicester were down and out in Seville. They weren't playing for the boss*, they were lethargic, lazy, lost, a shell of last season's title-winning side.

A Vardy tap-in, a managerial change and two wins later and suddenly the Foxes are in the hunt for a last eight spot.

    *Apparently.
